Modifying or creating a contact

Contact modification screen can be displayed to change a contact or create a new contact. In the case of a new contact, if the account has not been defined by the caller and that there are several possible accounts, you will first have to select the account where to create the contact.

The contact modification screen includes a header and a list.

The header contains:

    • photo (small),
    • the name eventually with deceased indication (genealogist cross),
    • a link label if it is a contact for a family link,
    • icons showing lists membership (phone, favorites, visible, birthdays),
    • a button with an OK icon .

The list shows a tree with one or two levels of contact information found in the database of contacts that the program can change.

May be presented:

    • phone numbers with associated label,
    • email addresses with associated label,
    • family links,
    • postal addresses with associated label,
    • the name with decomposition,
    • the nicknames,
    • the date of birth,
    • the gender (man or woman),
    • the "notes".

For each of modifiable information, icons or edit boxes allow you to modify or delete the information (except for the name that can not be deleted).

Menu commands for adding these types of information, except for the already present unique information (name, date of birth, gender, parent or spouse family links, nicknames and "notes") .

Other menu commands allow to put invisible or visible the contact (if possible), or to remove the deceased indication, and add, change or modify the photo (take a photo, gallery search, rotations of the photo).

Finally, for the creation or modification of family links, you can create a new contact or start a search for an existing contact for the link.

A touch on the OK button will save the changes in the contacts base, and returns to the screen that launched the modification screen.

If you return after actually changes without touching OK, you must confirm the abandonment of modifications before returning (or back again to cancel the request for return).
