Literary Letters

A literary letter, in this case, is a letter written to a teacher or peer about a book you have read.

After you finish reading the book, write 3 literary letters.

Each letter should be addressed to a different person. You can write to Mr. Latini, or your classmates. Keep your audience in mind and write with a purpose.

DO NOT SUMMARIZE! DO NOT RUIN THE PLOT FOR ANYONE!

Some of the things your can focus on:

• Reflect on and analyze the writer's style, techniques, etc.

• Reflect on and analyze the theme (not necessarily plot).

• Analyze why this is/is not a good read. Why you would or would not recommend it.
