Create Your Own Synthesis Prompt 

Your class is currently focusing on a specific topic.

Your group will now create a Synthesis Prompt that is related to that topic.  I may pick one of your prompts for a future in-class essay.

Step 1: Discuss your topic and figure out a specific aspect that your group thinks would make an interesting debate.

Step 2: Formatting Your First Page 

Step 3: Start looking for sources.  Half of your sources should support the argument, and half should challenge it. If a source cannot fit on one page, create an excerpt of that source. Formatting Your Source Pages 

All of this will be done on the Google Doc that was created for you in Google Classroom.
