TED Talk Style Challenge 

Participants are tasked with delivering a presentation in the style of a TED Talk on a topic of their choice. They must convey their ideas in a dynamic, engaging manner, focusing on delivering a thought-provoking message that inspires, educates, or entertains the audience. This challenge emphasizes effective storytelling, visual aids, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.



Interactive Speech Challenge 

Participants deliver a speech that incorporates audience participation and interaction. This could involve asking questions, conducting polls or surveys, facilitating discussions, or involving the audience in hands-on activities related to the speech topic. The challenge encourages speakers to engage with their audience, create a memorable experience, and foster active participation and engagement throughout the presentation.



Finding Laughter in Public Speaking

Develop and deliver a humorous speech that engages the audience through wit, humor, and effective delivery techniques. Students will explore various comedic styles, utilize humor techniques, and employ rhetorical devices to entertain and captivate their audience.

"Speak Outside the Box: The Unconventional Speech Challenge"

The objective of this assignment is to push the boundaries of traditional public speaking and challenge students to deliver a speech in a unique and creative manner. By breaking free from conventional presentation styles, students will explore innovative approaches to communication, foster creativity, and enhance their public speaking skills.

Select an Unconventional Format:

Choose a non-traditional format or style for your speech. This could include but is not limited to:

PechaKucha: A presentation format where 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each, keeping the speech concise and dynamic.

Ignite Talk: A presentation format with 20 slides that advance automatically every 15 seconds, encouraging rapid-fire delivery.

Narrative pantomime: Communicate a story using only gestures, facial expressions, and body movements, without verbal language. 

Role-play or Character Monologue: Present your speech in the form of a dramatic monologue or by embodying a fictional character.

Poetry Slam: Perform a spoken word poem that conveys your message through rhythm, rhyme, and imagery.
