Declarative Sentence vs Imperative Sentence 

A Declarative Sentence is a simple statement that is used to provide information about something or state a fact 

Imperative Sentence: Get in the car.

Declarative Sentence: Jon got in the car. 

Imperative Sentence: Jon, get in the car.

Declarative Sentence: The soda is in the refrigerator. 

Imperative Sentence: Put the soda in the refrigerator.
