Goal: Create your own synthesis prompt using a central argument presented in The Great Hack.


While Watching

  1. Watch the film and identify main arguments

  2. Make note of any fallacies, biases, misleading or incomplete evidence

  3. Make note of rhetorical choices used throughout the film.

After Watching

When we are done watching the documentary, complete the following steps with your group.


  1. Identify a central argument you would like to focus on.

  2. Gather a variety of additional sources that could be used to support or challenge the argument.
