2015 -2010 Editor Notes

chat back in session,I'm all psyched up to began a new chat,I chose a little "c" to begin the conversation because some people actually forget that csaccac is spelled with a lower case "c" not to mention during the beginning stages of getting csaccac off the ground a few my business card has the "c" csaccac typed in upper case letters_since then I've revised my personal business cards,the latest revision is much better although one or two improvements would make it even better,being the perfectionist that I strive to achieve in all things written in print,as a English major. In the same instance,I also chose the little "c' to start April's conversation because this chat isnt quite as big as some of the previous chats. Aside from new business cards a lot stuff some good and some not so good has happened since I last spoke with all of you in March. To be truthful ,March left quite an impression with National Women's History Month,St. Paddy's Day and Barbie's birthday,the month moved along quickly and if a careful eye wasnt watching closely they could've missed some important dates and events. And as usual, I kept pretty busy with my Social Networking sites(Facebook,LinkedIn,meetme & Twitter)_and Ill probably get some serious feedback for this one,MocoSpace__because it has being awhile since Ive shown my MocoSpace some Moco Luv. At any rate,Im making way back to Moco Luv slowly but the Luv stills there,not to mention Ive got a email inbox filled with Moco friend request. Worthy business to note and make mention of Moco Luv,other note worthy business the real reason,the main focal point for April's Editor Note isnt to dwell on my Social Status,it is all about the totality of April and all the stuff that happened in April. For instance,if you had the opportunity to read last week chat then you know a few weeks ago I was in a chat session chatting about Barbie as an American icon and role model as well as the impact that Barbie has made on the lives of women all across the global,as part of National Women's History Month. And in all actuality,throughout the years especially during my late teens and early twenties Ive looked towards several notable public figures,TV personalities,and sports figures as role models__even though, Id been taught your true role model/models often times is/are the person/ people in your inner circle,the person/people you see everyday in the classroom,at work,in Sunday school and at those RSVP social events. Over the course of the years,of all the role models Ive given recognition to,Ive always perceived and even today I continue think of the teachers,college professors,adminstrators_ that the universe, that the all omnipotent being __the mother/father of the universe simple referred to as the Creator allowed me to make contact with,to lay my eyes upon,shake hands,make a polite smile,and say "Nice to meet you" as the most influential people and of course role models so very real and ever so present in my life,until Spring the season that brings us Easter,the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior,Jesus son of the Nazarenes. At Easter,I begin to think of the impact of the biblical teahings of Jesus and the disciples whom Ive perceived to be a role model to all Christians from the moment of my first Sunday school lesson to my first Sunday school bible. Seldom do I state or talk at length about my views of Easter_,although it is noted in an Editor Note ,the Easter tradition has been one of my favorite long standing childhood traditions that I continue to recognize years later. Some of my fondest memories ocurred during elementary school and in my pre teen,in one memory I recall how much I loved the scene from the Easter story which re tells of the resurrection of Jesus. A scene from made for TV screen film that grabs my attention each an every time,and it nevers cease to awe and amaze me,the rolling away of the rocks from tomb where the people believe the body of Jesus to be buried only to learn the body of Jesus isnt inside the tomb. Shortly after the people learn that Jesus's body isnt in the tomb word spreads that Jesus has been seen walking then there's this big span of the cameras as they pan across a field Jesus is seen walking across the Lilies of the Field. This prophetic scene remains an all time favorite within the Easter story. And in speaking of resurrections,April's Editor Note and eNewsletter is something of a resurrection,after weeks of poignant devotation to the classes I began taking in the winter of 2014,lapses grew in between my blogging monthly and getting csaccac eNewsletter completed on schedule dates,as well as the monthly posting of the Product of the Month,as of today I remain off schedule,and behind on my Blog,Im hoping to resurrect it (my Blog) along with my website this summer. May's up next,as for now this chat session has ended,and I look forward to you joining me in the next chat at the same place,the Editor Note.

Not quite how I expected to start the New Year, and somehow I’ve got a Pink Passion to fill and a commitment to keep__ as do so many of you,I'm on a mission one that sometimes feels futile and impossible. A message from the Editor,Founder & President of csaccac Inc; Quite an amazing and remarkable feat in 2012,American consumers and shoppers egress from a politically charged presidential campaign, a fiscal cliff, housing crisis, and plant closings. With slow economic and job growth, Should consumers and shoppers expect less of the holiday season and more government rhetoric? 2013, what do you expect to see happen in the New Year?

The Unexpected Tales of Life: Christmas trees, decorations, gifts, cakes, pies, holiday music, and holiday TV specials, I enjoyed many holiday seasons surrounded with these things and stuff. At a young age, I had been introduced to the Christmas tradition at home as well as in a public school classroom. And in all honesty, as an adolescent, I often expected during the Christmas holidays to be surrounded with the things and stuff associated with the holiday season. Admittedly, as an infant and pre adolescent I didn’t fully understand the true meaning of the holiday season. Of course, it is to be expected of almost every infant and pre adolescent to not understand what the fuss is all about mainly for the fact that the brain hasn’t fully formulated ideas, opinions and concepts. Eventually, as I grew older, I also grew out my puerile thinking about the holiday season, specifically, Christmas. Although, I believed I had put away my puerile thinking about Christmas, somewhere in my subconscious I continued to expect the holiday to hold true to its tradition not meaning. Straight forwardly speaking, it takes a modest person to admit one's fault, and a brave person to confess what their really thinking. Apparently, as I look back on the numerous Christmas holidays I shared with family and friends, especially during my pre adolescent and adolescent years, I had high expectations of the season and the day. At some point, during my adolescent after years of my fairytale expectations of the holiday season, I had been told to not set my expectations too high. In short, the reason I had been given sounded something like this "if you don’t set your expectations to high then you won’t feel disappointed or let down when things go awry." Years later, after listening to several biblical leaders, I had been inculcated to believe that I should set my expectation sooo high that God would have to do his thing. To expect or not to expect, as the years progress, I had to learn not to expect of others what I didn’t expect of myself including truth, honesty, and respect. While I gained a new outlook on expectancy, one expectancy I hadn’t done away with the expectancy of the holiday season. With fairytale expectations, I expected that my holidays would be as those of my adolescent. What I expected and what ensued to simply state had been unexpected especially during the holiday season. Veritably, for a tantamount of consumers and shoppers the holiday season is often a time to reconnect with loved ones,truthfully,I've observed over the years that there's a lot more to holiday season than a commercial marketing ticket to get consumers and shoppers to buy stuff. Sure, there’s a lot stuff that gets thrown in between the true meaning of the holiday season, and I certainly wouldn’t be fooling anyone but moi, if I just totally left out the facts such as, December is the month that I recall from as far back as my adolescent that I considered a great time to shop for sales, bargains and discount items. And seemingly, throughout the years, consumers and shoppers also agree that December is a great time to shop. In a lot of instances, consumers and shoppers often like to go in search of that one great find or buy. And each year retailers have come to expect consumers and shoppers to leave their comfort zone if only for a few hours to peruse store shelves and racks retailers expect it and consumers expect great deals. Expectancy, it is what is expected, it is what consumers and shopper look forward to as advertised ,anticipate, count on, and it is what many consumers and shoppers await for each holiday season. Expectancy, it is the big moment or great opportunity that a consumer or shopper waits to appear or as defined in the Webster New World Dictionary and Thesaurus "it is that which is expected." What isn’t expected__, dying young? In truth, death is inevitable it is to be expected, it is as natural as birth. What is not to be expected is America's youth being killed from senseless crime or being gunned down in a school yard. Sadly, on the eve of this last issue of the year, of the csaccac eNewsletter&Newsletter, consumers and shoppers received horrific news of twenty children and six adults being killed with a firearm just before the Christmas holiday. Totally unexpected especially after several gun related deaths earlier in the year that sparked a national debate on gun violence. At the report of the horrific act, I felt the horror and outrage of the loved ones victims left behind. As the holiday season I approach, I put aside along with millions of Americans the commercial marketing ticket to pause and remember the twenty children and six adult as well as all of the innocent people who lost their lives to firearms and gun violence. To conclude, as the New Year approaches under these strenuous and extremely somber circumstances, let’s remain prayerful for change, you’d think after being editor of the csaccac eNewsletter and Newsletter for three years that I would have this editor thing written down to a T, when the truth of the matter is it does get easier, it only gets more intricate and obverse. Tales of Life: Life is full memorable moments. And for a tantamount of consumers and shoppers, life is also full of hectic schedules, grueling work hours, demanding bosses and neglected friends, family members and loved ones. Traditionally, the holiday season has been the time that a tantamount of consumers and shoppers reconnect with loves ones to create lasting memories. While the holiday season remains a great time to get re acquainted with friends and family, consumers and shoppers know waiting for them after the holidays__life as they knew it before the holidays, hectic schedules, grueling work hours, and demanding bosses. Of course, as you and I know there’s more to life than filling in a calendar,life is also about doing the things you love such as spending time with family, reading, blogging, listening to music, dressing up in costume on Halloween,carving pumpkins,baking pies, or even having a Fright Night with friends. At the same time, life is also about giving thanks for all things big and small, great, and not so great. In speaking of giving thanks, Thanksgiving Day is often recognized as the day designated to give thanks and to be grateful, certainly, each of us should give thanks daily. However, I don’t if it had been by fate or the Gods that consumers and shopper were asked to stop the hustle and bustle of life and give thanks on Thanksgiving day. After years of tradition,consumers and shoppers continue even today to get together on Thanksgiving Day help the less fortunate. Throughout the years, Thanksgiving Day has shown the true spirit of ordinary American consumers and shoppers with random acts of kindness and giving back to their community. For years, I had been told that you don’t have to be a millionaire or a rich person to give back to your community. Start small, eventually; you’ll learn that giving back to your community, school, or church gives your life meaning and a sense of direction. At the age of 41, I do believe in giving back to the community, truthfully, I had been taught that giving back to community had been equally important as receiving an education. So, even if you don’t have a windfall to give, start somewhere, it could be your time, your talent, or monetary donations. In the spirit of giving of thanks, I want to thank all of our readers, members, and sponsor who given to help progress the work at csaccac Inc. As I conclude this editor note, to each reader, consumer, and shopper I want to say;

Pink Madness:Hatred, fear, dread, and rage; each of these emotions reminds consumers and shoppers, as uncomfortable as each emotion causes consumers and shoppers to feel, they remind consumers and shoppers that they're human. Commonly thought of as negative emotions and feelings hatred, fear, dread, and rage; I have observed throughout the years that the un comfortableness each of the mentioned emotions causes consumers and shoppers. Hatred ,fear ,dread, and rage; usually, occurs when a consumer or a shopper feels mentally drained, physically exhausted, forlorn, frustrated or feels under pressure to perform. You've seen the images a thousand times on reality television participants projecting hatred, fear, dread, and rage; towards another reality show participant. You've also seen the images of hatred, fear, dread, and rage; broadcasted on your local news often these images show parents out of control, yelling and chastising a child in a public. And,you've seen the images of a consumer or a shopper taking out their frustration on another consumer or shopper as they wait impatiently in a grocery store checkout lane. If you thought about cussing out the cashier, punching a movie patron in the face while waiting in a line for movie tickets, or animal cruelty, remember this ladies, I don’t think they’re making Bright Pink prison jumpsuits these days but you could try to get a law passed to change the color of prison jumpsuits because it is true they have become quite antiquated.

Hatred, fear, dread, and rage; without a question each of these emotions elicits some pretty strong negative feelings and responses from consumers. Hatred is a much stronger emotion than anger and being mad, truthfully, I don't like the word hate or to think that hatred exist in this day and age, sadly, I must eschew denial and admit hatred does exist. And to be honest, I have experienced hatred in my personal and professional life. On any given day, I would have to say it’s not an emotion I like to discuss neither do I like discussing the events, situations, and actions leading up to the moment the act of hatred occurred. Unequivocally, hatred does exist, however, it is the job of the consumer or shopper to choose the correct course of action. Veritably, I've been mad been plenty of times in my childhood and adult life; for example I’ve been mad at landlords, creditors, cashiers, ex boyfriends, I’ve even been so mad at restaurant service, that I wanted to scrape the food on the floor and leave a tip as a good Samaritan. And then there’s the, Oh! but you did kind of madness, the $86.00 you borrowed from your childhood best friend while in college, the $400 you borrow from an ex boyfriend, the $500 collect call phone bill, the $286.00 you borrowed from a long distance aunt to pay your car insurance, the $300 plane ticket your relatives sent you because you got strained in another state. Sure, you’ve been told not to sweat the small stuff, now__ it’s Pink Stuff& Pink Madness. Who's to blame___ who’s to blame when your credit goes bad, who’s to blame when you get injured on the job, who’s to blame when the money ain't the same, who’s to blame when the carpet gets pulled from under your feet, who’s to blame when the economy goes south___who’s to blame when you can’t pay your bills like a normal person, who do you get Mad at? Yes, I’ve been mad and I have felt rage. An emotion, I often don’t experience, but I have felt rage. There's have been days when I have felt rage at the thought of an innocent bystander being shot, I have felt rage when a star pupil or student get stabs with a knife and loses his/her life, I have felt rage at the ongoing wars that put Americas men and women is dangerous situations. Yes,I have felt rage, I know rage and I don’t like rage, it is a sign from life you’re not in control of your life. Even though, hatred does exist part of being a responsible citizen as well as a shopper is learning to handle all types situations and emotions without being explosive or extreme in behavior.

Like a dog licking your brain or a rabid dog bite, hatred, fear, dread, and rage; eats away at the core of a person’s character ultimately destroying their temperament and attitude. Hatred,fear, dread and rage; these emotions also destroy important facets of life such as your health, friendships, marriges,work relations,

shopping experiences, holidays, and vacations. The truth of the matter about negative emotions such as hatred, fear,dread,and rage ,it doesn't matter where you find yourself when these emotions occur; for instance, you could be at home, at work, on the job, in school, at a restaurant, at a gas station, or at a department store, hatred, dread, fear, and rage; could rear their ugly head without expectation in these places as long as the atmosphere and conditions have all of the makings for an uncomfortable situation. If bells, sirens, or fire alarms don’t go off when these negative feelings and emotions pop, or if these negative feeling and emotions pop up too frequently an attitude adjustment might be in order. To lessen feelings of hatred,fear,dread, and rage; practice meditating, yoga,quoting scripture, I like to read inspirational, motivational, as well as Christian books when I am upset or mad about a certain event ,action, or situation.Whether if its hatred of people, hatred of opinions, hatred of fashion, hatred of a certain hairstyle, hatred of a particular music ,hatred of a religious group, there’s all different kinds of hatred, instead of turning to hatred as a response to bad events,situations,and actions as a responsible consumer and shopper learn tolerance of all kinds stuff and things. Most importantly,tolerance, shows growth as well as the maturity of the consumer and shopper. A myriad consumers and shoppers have fears that go unspoken such as fear of losing a love one, fear of losing a job, fear of driving, fear of eating foreign foods, fear of being in large crowds, fear of dating,fear of being terminally ill, and fear of rejection, consumers and shoppers experience different kinds of fear and dread;certainly,in most instance, the fear or dread consumers and shoppers feel at home,on the job,in a restaurant,or a movie theater is a much different kind of fear and dread consumers and shoppers feel while shopping.Dread is an emotion most consumers and shoppers often do not like to feel,just as there's all types of hatred and fear,there is also all types of dreadful situations, dread of being evicted, dread of being homeless,and dread of not being liked,it’s the terrible feeling at the bottom of your stomach,it’s the nauseating feeling you get the minute it rears its ugly head,dread frequently makes consumer and shoppers feel uncomfortable. As matter of fact,in some instances ,dread is an much more intense feeling than fear.As I've grown older, I have come to understand that hurting people hurt other people out of hatred, fear,dread,and rage; I know that hatred, fear,dread,and rage; impedes growth, retards the development of a person emotions as well as relationships.

First and foremost, hatred, fear, dread, and rage; these emotions shouldn't be repress. A part of being human is feeling an array of emotions, in certain instances, it is normal for consumers and shoppers to feel hatred, fear, dread, and rage; dolefully, these negative each emotions have unfavorable consequences on a personal level as an average citizen mainstreamed into the general population learning to not let hatred, dread, fear, and rage; rule your ever thought is the first step to not getting caught in uncomfortable, and sometimes deadly situations. Hatred, fear,dread,and rage; A lot of times as consumers and shoppers the first response is to blame other for our reactions, if you're in a place full of hatred ,fear, dread, and rage; you're unable to think clearly, to perceive events, situations and actions clearly, and you're unable to express your emotions responsibly, because of hatred,fear,dread,and rage;it has been proven , you won’t get far in life carrying around baggage dated back to God knows when, you’re only poisoning your mind.

Instead choose to dust off those negative feelings and emotions, get the monkey off your back, lose that chip on your shoulder,then once you’ve snapped back, make a resolution to put yourself in a place of gratitude, thankfulness, long suffering,patience,kindness and hope, so you don’t entertain hatred, fear,dread,and rage; when they rear their ugly heads. I didn’t do this to you, no one did this to you,_and when you get right down to the heart of the matter, you'll learn life is full of catch phrases that will try to grab your attention and suck the marrow out of your bones but you've got to understand and accept that life is filled with bad events, uncomfortable situations, and tedious activities that require you to not let your emotions control or get the best you. In this world full of madness, I chose to join the insanity by Owning Pink. In the midst of my Pink Madness, I stop to count my blessing big and small, I even pinch myself as a reminder that I am female, I am human, and I have feelings,....

Describe the inside of your closet and journal what's make your closet unique.

List some negative emotions you've have felt at home,at work,in a restaurant or department store, then list how you dealt with the negative emotions when they reared their ugly heads.

Recall & Write in a journal or blog an event,situation or activity that elicited a negative response from you and give details and examples how you handled the situation.

"On August 7th,2012 www.cacjohnson.com turned 7 years old,it began as web place holder in 2006 since then it has grown into a full service web site and fund raising site for csaccac Inc. With little understanding of how to build a web site in 2006,I built the www.cacjohnson.com from scratch with the assistance of Yahoo! builder. Today, I am pleased with the site that has expanded from a single web page to several pages. Although, the web site has undergone several makeovers the goal and objective of the site remains the same to assist consumers and shoppers of all ages in the areas of jobs,credit,housing,transportation,debt management, and better ways to shop.---cacjohnson

Then&Now:Back-to-school a family tradition that I looked forward to during all twelve years I attended public schools in Florida. Admittedly, the back-to-school tradition often got every-one involved from parents to teachers to students, even organizations within the community also got involved with the back-to-school tradition .Straight forwardly speaking,all throughout the twelve years that I attended public school in Florida,heading back-to-school after the summer months usually caused some excitement and anxiety. Customarily,the back-to-school tradition at my grandmother's,parent's, and cousin's home often included several shopping trips to various stores. Typically,back-to-school shopping when I had been a Middle school and High School student mainly focused on things and stuff related to school such as purchasing school supplies ,clothing,back packs,and textbooks. Even today,years after I have graduated from high school and college the back-to-school tradition remains big with families that have young and budding students. Ostensibly,not much has changed about the back-to-school tradition except for the things and stuff required of students to receive the best education and get the most out a public education. Veritably,years after my public education, I continue to observe and watch the back-to-school tradition. Amazingly, with the advancement in technology,students of this decade now have the opportunity to receive a top notch education before they step inside a classroom. Add to the fact that students have the opportunity to receive a top notch education at home,the tools of education has also evloved with the times ,students no longer have to depend on pens,pencils,paper and textbooks to convey their thoughts ,to complete a reseach paper, or an essay. From pens,pencils,paper and textbooks to Smart Phones,Netbooks,Laptops,ThinkPads,Kindles,Nooks and the world wide web,make no qualms about it,the way students of this decade receive an education has greatly changed since the days I attended elementary, middle school and high school. Crayola crayons,left handed scissors,construction paper, several texas instrument calculators some of the tools I utilize when I atended public school all those items today have to compete for attention with all of the latest tech gadgets in stores.

Spirit of Competition:Healthy competition,I encourage all kids to compete in sports and other extra curricula activities sponsored by their school or local Youth organizations within their community. As a youth,the days I attended middle school,I trained and participated in track and field events after school. Eventually,after weeks,sometimes months of training I went on to compete in track events at different schools as a middle school student. Even though, I competed in a few events individually, I had been taught the importance of being a team player. Track,a sport I took very serious back then,during middle school,it remains a pleasant memory from the days I attended public school. Although, the days that I competed in track might be long behind me the message ,the lessons, and the experience I have kept and remain invaluable. Today, an old yellow and cream photo album holds most of my track memories along with my ribbons and recognition from elementary,middle school,and high school.

With the understanding of the meaning of the phrase Spirit of Competition, I also believe that competition in certain events and activities should not be encourage,especially, among teen girls and college students. In instances when the Spirit of Competiton gets out of hand,becomes slanderous,hurtful,detrimental and deadly,simply stated,I dont condone hazing or peer pressure. Throughout the years ,I learned that the Spirit of Competition,isn't just about the prize or the trophy,it's about one's attitude while overcoming obstacles and hurdles,it's about beating the odds not becominga statistic,being the best you,reaching your full potential, and most of all loving the sport or activity that you've chosen to dedicate your focus,time,and resources to practice,to train,as well as raise awareness,ultimately encouraging other to do the same and join the fun. Thanks to several of the morning news show ,you know the popular ones that you get with your HDTV convertor box (the Today Show,Good Morning America, the Early Show,CBS morning show) I stayed informed and up-to-date on the Summer Olympics.It's been a great roller coaster ride this summer,sadly,the summer months has ended to make way for autumn leaves and old man winter,most all of just because the weather has change doesnt mean you have to stay indoors there's still lots of stuff to do during Fall and Winter including shopping .

For years,I viewed political candidates as people who had a sincere interest in improving the American government and assisting the American people. And in all honesty that view I held of political candidates being public servants goes back as far as the days I attended kindergarten at Parkridge Elementary. Even today,I hold the same view that political candidates jobs should be to improve government and assist the people that place them in office. At the age of eigtheen,I voted in my first Primary Election in Deerfield Beach Fl, 2008,I voted for the first time out of my birth state. Apparently,whether I voted at home,or in different country,I have found that knowing the issues and the candidates seem to be more important to me than choosing or voting for political parties. Senior year of high school when I first went to sign up for voter registration, I choose at the time non Party Affiliate and not to claim a political party,forty years later,I remain non Party Affiliate with a strong dislike for lobbying and special interest groups. Aside from all the formalities,speeches,campaign Ads,the fact remains, as the 2012 Presidential race reaches its culmination,the American people fate and destiny lies in the hand of the next President. Certainly,among the fundraising and campaigning,the Presidential candidates of 2012 have a tough job ahead of them in the remaining stretch to win the White House.Both candidates in these latest few months have campaigned heavily throughout the United States in efforts to convince American citizens that they have the solutions to America's woes. In the face of uprecedent adversity,high unemployment rates and a slow economic recovery, American citizens look for the upside in political campaigns and candidates. Addressing issues such as taxes,welfare,job creation,gay marriages,women's reproductive rights,immigrations laws ,on the road to the White House,the 2012 Presidential Election remains in full swing. While the progress of the economy and the Presidential race seem to have gotten a lot of publicity and air time during this summer of 2012,the battle to the White House won't end until the Primary Election in November.

A message from the Editor,Founder & President of csaccac Inc.,

Dear members, readers, consumers and shoppers,

Once again it’s that time of year, it only happens every four years the general population casting their vote for the next President. Right now, I have a ton of E-mails in my corporate E-mail inbox with solicitations from political movements, political parties, and potential candidates each asking for support, more specifically, monetary support along with my vote for their political party. For years, I have been non party affiliated and I have taken the voting process very seriously. Although, I have not declared a political party, I prefer to remain impartial until both sides have presented the facts as they see it. In the same manner that I advocate as well as support several businesses and charities, I am very selective (with access to limit funding) I cannot give monetary support to every business, charity, person and political movement that ask for support; therefore, I must be very selective in those that I choose to assist because it reflects on the corporation as a whole. Straight forwardly speaking, I look forward to chatting with you each month; unfortunately those chat might have to get a little shorter because of low membership. Currently, csaccac Inc like many of those political movements, political parties, and potential candidates asking for support is funded through charitable donations, contributions, membership, fundraising, and sponsorships. At this time, I want to thank everyone that has contributed to csaccac Inc, with a very big sincere heartfelt Thank you, because without your support a lot of the work at csaccac Inc would not get done. Yes, there’s a lot more that could be done but we must have your support whether if it is monetary support, supplies, suggestions or comments to get csaccac where it should be a thriving business in the community.

Seven days of summer:

Summer is begining to cool down and this will be the last chat Im going to have with you before the back-to-school Edition.If I could have one wish during the summer months it would be that all die hard consumer and shoppers could spend one week in a first rate posh hotel on the beach, hitting the beach has been for several years one of the many things I enjoyed during the summer. Today, I believe that all consumers and shoppers should visit the beach at least one summer if not more during the warmer months. People ,places,movies,and music is some of the stuff that makes summer a blast and all of the rave each year. Astonishingly,summer is not quite over there's still time to make that fashion statement before heading back to class or work. O f course, I love the summer months just as much as I love the winter months I think Miley Cyrus song says it best "It's the Best of Both Worlds" lots of fun fashion to experience and wear. Typically the summer months continues to be the designated time that consumers and shoppers break away from their daily routines to experience all that the summer months has to offer. Veritably,every now and then something happens to make summer unforgettable like a consumers or shoppers, first big sale,first summer job,first big date, first summer major read, first trip to the beach,first tattoo,first Smart Phone,first family vacation, that's the upside of summer all of summer's first and it's exactly how I remember from the summers I that enjoyed as a teen Sadly, despite the many the efforts that consumers,shoppers,and parents take make sure that their kids remain safe during the summer months unforseen disaster and tragedy does occur at home ,at work, at school and during summer months. Above all of the sun and fun, safety and awareness must be implemented into summer planning and activties.

Summer days, I have throughout the years enjoyed the summer days with family and close friends. At the age of forty-something summer still is a big event. As outrageous as it might sound, I officially began the summer this year before the actual calendar date. In fact, I began the summer with a TV audition to be the Next Face of Fox! To be truthful, I had seven great days of summer that's events and activities that I won’t forget in 2012; for instance, the official release of my first book which took about two years to write and publish that also compromised of forty years of actual firsthand experience, then I hit the local mall strip__ a place I had been not since the mall had been renovated. And in all honesty, I had some reservation about going to the mall. After founding and become President of csaccac Inc, hitting the mall every weekend had become a thing of the past while it might have been something that I did as teen or a freshmen in college or even as a college graduate right out college, today, I'm living a 365Pink lifestyle that means wearing pink as much as I can tolerate, being a frugal shopper, monitor every dollar, looking for the best deals, avoiding mall prices and a being frugal shopanista. Even though, I did not avow to never shop in the mall, I have found that I am able to get most of the basic necessities without a trip to the mall. Ultimately, the summer visit to mall brought back nostalgia; it reminded me that sometimes the mall stores do offer great prices along with all the designer stuff you see in mags. Furthermore, it brought to my attention that I might be a 365Pink extremist because window shopping is free.Certainly, without a question the economy has a lot to do with the reason I have avoided the mall until this summer. Besides, the mall has always been a great place to meet new people.Aside from the two visit to the two local malls ,Local Author's Day really grabbed a lot of my attention this summer. Other Stuff that grabbed my attention this summer included:

The Presidential race, Good Afternoon America replace the daytime talk show the Revolution, a heat wave moves across the east coast, Ann Curry tear eyed exit from the today show, Jada Pickett Smith (bares all for Don't sell Bodies)to raise awareness for human trafficking, Colorado wildfires, and the Big Brother season premier.

....Safe media: G,PG, PG13,R,Nc-17,XXX,NR,UR,an age old question that has been around for some years and today could be considered a hot topic, Is it the responsibility of filmmakers and producers to filter and censor media? or Is it Hollywood's responsibility to provide safe media to the viewing public? After several wars and massive loss of life, should Hollywood censor the media it shows to the viewing public including movies in movie theaters? Conversely, in the midst of this slow economic recovery,should American consumers and shoppers step up and censor various media outlets at home, on the internet, and in public? Lastly, safe media isn't a fantasy or some kind of fairy tale, its parental control, viewer discretion, and a matter of choice. Most importantly, the summer for a lot kids begins on the last day school and means less supervision that ultimately requires parents to take on a more active role during the summer months including monitoring listening and viewing different medias. Undoubtly,a number things could cause a summer meltdown including what's being viewed on the big screen.

Summer meltdown: A week of record temperatures across the East coast in July caused a summer meltdown in some cities along the East coast and prompted a national heat advisory from the National Weather Forecast urging consumers and shoppers to avoid extreme heat, and drink plenty of fluids that contained very little sugar. Unavoidably, this summer I experienced the extreme heat firsthand in Va. First, I have to say it definitely got hot enough to fry an egg on the side walk and to melt ice cream inside an ice cream cone. Usually, the summer months for a tantamount of consumers and shoppers often has been designated as a time consumers and shoppers want to go outside; however, it’s those rare weather occurrences such as a heat wave that makes consumers and shoppers want to rush inside before they begin to sweat or melt. Normally, I don't let the heat get me hot and bothered, in spite of all my efforts this summer, the summer heat did incapacitate me for several days. On the days, I did try to beat the heat it only proved to be futile.

Battle to the finish line: With only a few weeks left before the November election, the campaign between the two Presidential candidates has caused heated conversation among consumers and shoppers. Impudently, some news media outlets have reported campaign

ads, TVcommericials, and financial disclosure and non closure at the root of many of those heated conversations. In 2008, I voted during an unprecedented voter turnout. And in all honesty, I look forward to voting in 2012 not as an Editor, or founder or President of csaccac Inc but as a concern citizen based on fact and proven results.

Bad Break: ...then there's these hair brain ideas that every girl gets every once and while to catapult her career into stardom, in this particular instance I chose the audition for the Next Face of Fox 43! Weeks after I auditioned to be the Next Face of Fox 43! I remained disconcerted, awed,dazed and confused, at the news of not making the Top Twenty. Okay, I had a bad break that didn't manifest itself until after the official list of the Top Twenty had been posted on the official Fox 43 TV webpage. At first, I didn't place a lot of emphasis on the contest because I had been engrossed in promoting and advertising my first book. Although, I had been enthused about the contest, I remained fixed on promoting my first book. And truthfully, unless it's a sport I don't like to compete and I don't like being compared,___ rate me ,critic me, theorize me but don't compare me. For all purpose intended, I entered the contest as an original not a carbon copy, and foremost as a personality to represent Fox 43! and perhaps my own agenda, well__ it's true, I've got a book to sale along the with membership to the company’s newsletter. Even though, I believe that much of my work did and does speak for itself ,in this particular instance it had not been my work in question but whether or not I could aggregate numbers in followers and fans, not surprisingly, that’s where I had the bad break. Days after the audition, I felt let down and uncertain about the veracity of Social Networking, mainly because I utilized several Social Networking Sites to get votes. Sadly, I didn't accumulate enough votes through the use of the sites. Outlandishly awful, I know what I did this summer and so does everyone one Twitter, Facebook,Meet me,MySpace, MocoSpace,Linked In, and anyone who tunes into Fox 43!, hyperbole or just one of those memorable summers. What should have been my Big Break turned into a Bad Break that literally left me at the end of summer working to rebound from a big upset and a Bad Break, I consider summer stuff that doesn't happen on a quotidian.

About Summer Stuff & Summer's Serious Side:

Often as consumers and shoppers we think of the summer months as time to break away from our daily routines to enjoy rare moments with family and friends. In most of those instances, as consumers and shoppers we find ourselves enjoying back yard bar-be-cues,days on the beach, and rare family moments at amusement parks, family picnics, and outdoor concerts, certainly, the summer months for a lot consumer and shoppers throughout years has become synonymous for relaxation and fun. And for many consumers and shoppers summer stuff takes precedent over all of the other stuff at the top of their to-do-list; egregiously, it’s not a tall order to fill because nearly all of the local chain stores carry many of the items consumers and shoppers frequently purchase during the summer months to assist them in planning their summer days and family getaways. From grills to digital cameras, if you're planning a simple family picnic or a summer getaway, first checkout your local chain store to stock up on summer stuff. Usually, the summer months does allow consumers and shoppers some down time; sadly, in some instance, the summer months could also become serious as with the devastating wild fires in Waldo Colorado and the deadly shootings in Aurora Colorado. Typically, most consumers and shoppers prepare for road trips and nasty summer weather; oddly, part of the summer fun also includes safety and awareness. Unequivocally, summer months continues to be a great time for Glam, Flare, and to be Winged Out &Over the Top,at the same time ,safety should always come first.

Summer Glam, Flared, Winged Out & Over the Top:

Fashion during the summer has traditionally been about making a statement from bikini bottoms to flip-flops, and sandals. Truthfully, the summer months often brings in new fashion trends, and lots of fashion fun. True, it’s no secret I'm not a fashion editor, but I do know a little or maybe a lot about fashion. For instance, chose a style that portrays the real you; don’t be afraid to get professional advice from the pro's; to get the look of the stars you don't have to spend a fortune; save the Glam for the evening and night clubs; for the jean lovers, if you love jeans like soooo many girls do, pick a brand and a style that's right for you. Skinny, Straight, Original Boot Cut, Boot Cut, Bright, Ripped, Cropped & Cuffed, Flared, Acid Wash; today, numerous department stores offer jeans in various brands, styles and sizes, you just have to take your time, try on a few pair and find the right fit. Accessories, Accessories, Accessories, Accessories, cool hand bags, shoes, bracelets, belts, earrings, and nail glam, once again__ the summer months remains a great time to rack up on accessories and experiment with different looks before heading back-to-school. Alright, the verdict is in you love being Over-the-Top, then the summer months as always continues to be best time to show off your style and express your individuality before heading back-to-class where the dress code rules.

(10) Things I like about pink:

Very few colors encapsulate the youth and innocence of being a girl like pink. Throughout years, I have worn a variety of colors to school and to work. In fact, I often wore neutral colors that I could easily mix and match without having to ask "does this match?" Black, white, tan, dark navy, gray, brown and even red, I often chose to wear at least one of the colors if not all of them during a season or fashion trend instead of pink all throughout middle school, high school ,as college student and well into adulthood. Sure, I might have worn the color pink in elementary school; a fashion trend short lived once I entered middle school and began choosing the clothing I wanted to wear to school. At a very young age, I had been introduced to color pink with the aid of store bought toys, dolls, and makeup. And in all honesty, Mattel the maker of Barbie left an impressionable print on my brain about beauty and the color of pink. Back then___ I perceived the color pink to be an iconic symbol for girls. Admittedly, as I grew older I out grew the color pink___ so, I had thought. Truthfully, I didn't view the color pink as a versatile color. Straight forwardly speaking, one of the main reasons I didn't perceive pink as a versatile color had been based on the fact that I frequently associated the the color pink with dolls, little girls ,and extreme girlness. Ostensibly, during the maturation process, I continued to perceive pink as an iconic symbol of extreme feminity. Add to the fact, a main reason I had not considered wearing pink as an adult because I felt I wouldn't be taken seriously at school and work. Besides, the two main reasons that I hadn't considered wearing pink as an adult (1) I felt that pink hadn’t been a versatile color,(2) I also felt I would be taken seriously if I wore pink to school and work ;above all, I had been taught appropriate work attire consisted of knee length skirts, natural and natural tone stockings ,conservative makeup. In the era that I had been raised the Gods or the fashion police had declared that neutral and natural tones to be the most appropriate work attire for men and women,unbelievably, today that declaration still holds true in most workplaces. After, I graduated from high school and went on to college directly after my high school graduation, I quickly learned during the summer months when I returned back to home town to look for seasonal employment all that I had been taught about workplace attire had been accurately portrayed. Inculcated with videos, workbooks, demonstration, I had been trained in appropriate work attire for each job I applied for employment, and not surprisingly nearly all of them had the same guidelines for appropriate workplace attire; in some instances, I had been required to wear a uniform. As I revisit the days of being a sales associate and cashier, I certainly had received a lot of training in customer service. Typically, I prefer solids, very few prints, and no wording on shirts or tees. Today, I am not so closed minded, especially, when it pertains to the color pink. Since becoming the Founder & President of csaccac Inc, I have found that I gravitate towards the color pink a lot more than I ever had in my adolescence and college years. Of course, I attribute the luv I feel towards pink to a few of the charities that I advocate along with the fact it's prevalent in the company's logo and trademark. Despite all that I have learned about workplace attire, I m not ruling out the color pink while pink might not have been the first choice back then it's getting my attention and not just on Barbie. Aside from the two main reasons I hadn't considered wearing pink as an adult, here’s (10) things I like about pink (1) there's an array of pink hues (2)contrary to my initial belief pink is an versatile color you can wear with black, white and khaki (3) because of the various hues the color could be worn to work and to school (4) it exudes femininity (5) it's an iconic symbol (6) it's a great color to wear during the summer (7)the color pink has both a soft and vibrant side (8) I love to wear it for favorite charities (9) (10) most of all the color pink exudes the effeminate manners of being feminine.OwningPink@ Forty: 365Pink Lifestyle, Love it, Live it, Believe in it, Share it & Wear it.

Bounce Back & Spring Forward:Consumers and shoppers, does Easter preparation, taxes, summer fun, diets, lifestyle changes and swimsuits have you at your wits ends?Have you been feeling under the weather, down in the dumps or not quite the old you that you're normally use to?

If you answered yes to any part of the questions then you could be experiencing depression. As a matter of fact, millions of consumers and shoppers experience depression each year. In a lot instances depression takes consumers and shoppers by surprise,truthfully, I have had days that I didn't even realize I had been depress until I looked at my planner and realized the weekend had arrived. When I think about depression and its affects, I recall my bouts with depression in my teens had been frequent and scary. For the most part, all throughout middle school, high school, and college, I had bouts with depression, sometimes the depression lasted a day and other times the depression would set in and last for a couple of days. GPA's, fashion, guys, he thought of attending social events, cars, and stuff often caused me to get depressed or go into a deep slump during my high school and college years. Veritably, I believe I had felt what most girls had felt at that age and spent most of their time as well as focus towards___ being accepted by the in-crowd. Not surprisingly, I experienced many sleepless nights during high school and college because of depression. As a result, I had to learn not to let the depression control my every thought, eventually, this happened with counseling and over a given period of time. In most instances, I had to practice not focusing on the things the stuff that caused me to go into depression but focus on those things that I did well and the stuff that made me feel good about life in general. Sadly, for some consumers and shoppers bouts with depression is a deep dark secret that they rather not admit to, however; for an adolescence, a high school student, or a college student dealing with depression ___sometimes, it is a good idea to seek counseling or the sympathetic ear of a friend. At some point in time in a consumer or shoppers life depression might rear its ugly head. Fortunately, during my bouts of depression, I had been blessed with a wonderful group of aunts, cousin, and friends with sympathetic ears. Certainly, any consumer or shopper that experience depression for more than a week should seek counseling, at any rate the depression sets in or pops up its ugly head, consumers and shoppers must remember that depression is treatable. Recently, while working on my first book What's With All That Stuff,cacjohnson!#@!(A Shopper's Guide to Better Shopping), I experienced days of being disconsolate,forlon,overwhelmed,dejected,inconsolable , and sad. Depression, I know from first hand experience, sometimes causes the nights to seem really long. Let's be honest, the days and nights for many consumer and shopper is filled with so many different task on their to-do-list that the best advice I would give to anyone, especially a consumer or a shopper, who is having bouts with depression, when you're depressed don't make any rash decisions___wait a few days before proceeding with task,preparations,and shopping. Instead of sinking deeper into depression practice meditating,exercising,and thinking of positive affirmations such as

Today is full of hope,Tomorrow is full of promise,and the Future is filled with yesterday's dreams and visions,you can bounce back and spring into the future.

Decaffeinated or Caffeinated:Career choices, first of all I want to say, a career choice is a life long journey that begins with making a choice. In fact, for some consumers and shoppers having to make a choice could happen just about anywhere, it is the process of choosing between two or more things. For some consumers and shoppers making a choice could happen while making a pot of coffee, standing at the coffee machine, visiting their favorite coffee shop, or taking sip of coffee with their morning breakfast, the truth of the matter is consumers and shoppers make choices on a daily basis from what to eat, what to wear, what hairstyle to wear to a job interview, what to buy, where to live, what college to attend, what numbers to pick for the lottery, who to date, what music to listen to, what books to read, what party to vote for in the general election and so forth... As consumers and shoppers making choices is a constant and never ending process, the task of making choices is something that consumers and shoppers have been doing for decades at home, at work, in grocery stores, during holidays and on vacations. It could happen in a blink of an eye, in a second, in a conversation, or totally out of the blue. Making choices, simple, easy, moderate, hard or difficult, no matter the choice, indisputably, consumers and shoppers usually make choices based on experience and education. Straight forwardly speaking, the truth of the matter is consumers and shoppers make choices every day. In most cases, making a choice first begins with a consumer or a shopper being welled versed in the subject, topic, book, item or product to make an informed choice. Although, a tantamount of consumers and shoppers make choices daily, it is not always a piece of cake; for example, the task of selecting a career. Admittedly, the task of selecting a career is an important task for a myriad of consumers and shoppers which only makes since because often the career a consumer or shopper chooses normally affects every area of their lives. First and foremost before making a career choice all consumers and shoppers should know the difference between a career, a job, and work. Speaking from firsthand experience, I began to work at a young and I have many jobs. Eventually, I develop a belief system that equated having a career meant being a success. At a young age, I began to consider career choices. Today, I attribute the career choices that I chose to living with my grandmother and parents. Some of the fondest memories I have relate back to living with grandmother. When I think of career choices, I automatically think of the mornings that I and my aunts helped get my grandmother ready for work. During the late seventies, I observed and helped my grandmother get ready for work before heading out the door to attend elementary school at Park Ridge Elementary. For a number of years, a typical morning began with my grandmother waking up at 500am in the morning washing up, putting on makeup, lipstick, beige stockings ,and her wig_ then after the basic hygiene had been take care of my grandmother would put on her work uniform, leave instructions for the day and be out the door before 700am. To help my grandmother get ready for work I and both my aunts woke up at the same time as my grandmother, our job had been to make the morning coffee and put up the iron broad_ so my grandmother could quickly iron her instructional chef uniform. Much later in life, I fell in love with Starbucks coffee. Mornings with my grandmother is when I first began making career choices, it also the time that I began to fall in love with coffee. One of my favorite beverages,especially in the morning,coffee__coffee has been a favorite choice of beverage that I have enjoyed on numerous days. Back then, in my tweens, teens, twenties, and early thirties, I loved all types of coffees and I preferred caffeinated coffees to get my mornings started. Years later, much later in my life, I would fall in love with Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts Coffee but that didn't happen until after my first cups of Folgers,Maxwell and Taster's Choice.. Today, I still love Coffee but a few years back I began consuming less coffee. This month, I began thinking about a coffee a lot more because of the fall weather and I wanted an alternative to the carbonated drinks I had been drinking. One of the great things about coffee is it can be served hot, cold or as a frozen treat. For the month of March, I also checked out two major coffee makers in the USA on the internet plus I took a peek at some coffee recipes. Specifically, I wanted to know how to make Irish coffee, I had planned to make Irish coffee on St Patrick's__well,I didn't make Irish coffee this St. Patty's but I had lot a fun researching the coffee recipes. On a somber note, when the news of Travyon Martin ,a young unarmed teen shot by a civil servant became public, I thought about coffee. At the moment of the news, my first thoughts had been "what was this guy on? What had he been drinking moments before he shot the young teen? What caused him to shot the teen? Had the shooter been on caffeine? Or simply stated had he been a crazed shooter on a caffeinated high? Unjust, Stereotypes, preconceived ideas that consumers and shoppers make about each other without having all the facts and that's what I did in the case of Trayon Martin. During the course of the years, I have often visualized cops, police officers, 5-0, as being doughnut eating, coffee drinking guys with a pretty tuff job to "serve and protect" citizens, I had not once thought about coffee or sugar as a drug that should be ban from American Citizens in democratic country with the right to vote neither had I consider a coffee a drug that should be prohibited from Law enforcement. Coffee a drug or a mood enhancer?

Crave for Perfection::Wellness, health, mind, body, soul, relationships, spirituality, finances, and the universe. In my lifetime, I have craved many things from food to drinks, good grades, elite friends, cars, hair styles, vacations, the perfect job, boyfriends and even the perfect pot of coffee. Having cravings is natural; normally as consumers and shoppers began to maturate they start to recognize the different situations and conditions that initiate their cravings. To crave for something or someone is to have a strong desire, longing or want, when I began working my first job,I craved to be the best sales associate that I could be at that time. Since then__I have not stop craving for perfection in my personal and professional life. Of course, my craving for perfection began at a young age while observing my grandmother and parents preparing to go to work. Both my grandmother and parents had set standards for their lives that they wanted to achieve, they often set goals and worked to achieve them, not everything my grandmother and parents worked at reached perfection, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t give 110% of themselves to every goal they had set. At some point in time, after all of the debate, advisory, and confrontation has been hash out on television and over the air waves, I believe most consumers and shoppers crave for perfection in their personal and professional lives. And there is nothing wrong with craving for perfection; it only becomes a hazard when consumers and shopper chose to go to extreme lengths to reach perfection. Dolefully, reaching for perfection could cause physical and emotional injury, I believe instead of striving for perfection consumer and shoppers should reach for Wellness and Balance. And in every situation and condition strive to be the best you whether if it is a mom, sister, friend, a daughter, a dad, a son, a brother, a cook, a student, a clerk, a cashier, a janitor, a sales associate, a consumer or a shopper: it is okay to crave for perfection but reach for Wellness & Balance instead of perfection in your personal and professional life. Today, nutritionist and dietitians have studied foods and diets to help consumers and shoppers to stop cravings, inventors have created all kinds of stuff to stop cravings there is also, counselors, and group meetings formed to help consumers and shoppers stop cravings, all of these different forms of therapy is available to consumers and shopper all throughout the United States__ so, what are you craving?

Create-A-Pic: I envision me being the best at blogging, writting, networking, public speaking, motivating others, and having Wellness and Balance in every area of my life. What do you envision for your life?

A Visionary Futuristic Realistic You: What are some of the things you want to achieve in the future? What goals do you want to accomplish in the future? What future plans have you set to accomplish in the future? Now, name the things, list the goals, write the set plans you want to achieve in the future on a sheet of paper or in a journal. After you've gotten everything on paper, review what you written__ Next, answer these questions: The things you named are they realistic? The goals you listed are they realistic? The plans you set for the future are they realistic? On a scale from 1 to 10 write a number next to each of the task stated then choose if the things named, goals listed and plans set are obtainable or unattainable? Lastly,Do your goals and plans depict an accurate picture of the person you want to be in the future.

Compromising Positions:When in doubt always use the rule of thumb, this rule just so happens to work really well with me in times of difficulty and in making the real tough choices. To compromise is to concede and allow room for more than just your point of view,for example at work,in relationships,in restaurants,in airports,on vacations and during holidays, sometimes as consumers and shoppers to make a comprise is the best choice to eschew volatile confrontation. Truthfully,I don't like confrontation;therefore, I am more likely to make concessions and compromise in tough conditions. At any rate, I don't like confrontation and like to avoid them as much as possible,compromising positions,I've often stated the best thing to do in relation to compromising positions is not to get put into a compromising position from the start,however, in some particular conditions it is unavoidable. So,here's the final verdict in compromising positions consumers and shoppers might want to follow this in order : when in doubt always use the rule of thumb, makes concessions in tough conditions,make room for other points of view,avoid conditions suitable to compromises, and lastly be prepared for all types of conditions at work, at home,in the grocery store,on vacations and during the holidays.

The Impact of Unseen Terror(American casualities):

Halloween,Friday13th,Hell Raiser,Pumpkin Head,Pet Sementary,and the Shining,they contain scenes of vivid and graphic pictures of the most exaggerated forms of horror and terror. Horror films,from the grotesque to the evil dead, a tantamount of American consumers and shoppers enjoy viewing horror films on Halloween and all throughout the year;however,what happens in these films is something I believe most American citizens would not want to experience in real life intense horror and terror. Terror,the intense fear,uncertainty,awe,consternation,dismay,dread,frightfulness,panic and shock is the overall theme of many of these horror films with film makers primary goal to convey the message of intense terror to the viewing audience. To experience terror and horror in a movie theater is what most Americans find entertaining and feel it is okay to pay to see horror on the big screen;I along with millions of American consumers and shoppers also prefer to see horror and terror in the movie theater than to experience it firsthand. In 2000,I came to the full realization after the 9/11 attacks that the kind of horror and terror depicted in horror films could actually happen on such grand scale in 2000 in the United States. Admittedly, before the 9/11 attacks I frequently viewed mini series and listened to compelling biographies on Lifetime and the Hallmark of American citizens who had been terrorized by a family member, spouse or complete strange;in the same breath,I knew that terror could happen anywhere in the United States, I knew that it existed yet I didn’t expect it to happen in a modern, Westernized civilization and to that respect a part of me remained in denial. Terror is something that I envisioned is done by the other guy who doesn't understand the democratic process, who is from a different country,_it is not done by someone from a modernize country,this has been how I viewed terror and terrorist for a number of years. Hardly do you ever read of reports of American citizens being labeled as terrorist,for the most part, if an American citizen is considered to be a terrorist it is usually a shock and disbelief to American citizens in the United States. Putatively,it is not generally accepted that an American citizen could be a terrorist and especially not a soldier in the military. Outrage,shock,disbelief a few of the emotions I felt upon receiving the news of one lone soldier who killed 16 Afghans in the middle of the night. Based on the information reported by various news media outlets, his actions raised cause for alarm in the United States. Aim high, shoot low,this is my description of the actions taken by the soldier in the month of March. His actions I feel a devastating blow to the American people and the peace making process. One lone soldier, the kind of terror he inflected on the Afghans sounds like something out of a horror film. Although,this act didn't happen on US soil, it is terror in the worst form to humanity and created a real terror that is now preying on American citizens in the United States the impact of Unseen Terror and it's’ American casualties.

Code of Conduct:

People exude all types of behavior in all different types of situations. Not surprisingly, in a lot of instances a consumer or a shopper conduct in public reflects on their character and home life. Raised in an era when the cliché "it takes a village to raise a child" became a household axiom, and parents didn't get upset if a relative or neighbor told their kid to behave in public, as a small kid back then, I had been taught that my conduct outside of the home directly reflected on my parents and grandmother. Truthfully, from elementary to high school I was very conscious of my behavior in fear of being reprimanded by a teacher or parent. In fact, at the beginning of each school year both in middle school and high school students received a blue book called the Code of Code, the blue book listed dress code requirements and expectation of student behavior to be followed during school hours; students reviewed the blue book with teachers afterward students had to take the Bluebook home and have a parent sign the slip inside the book saying that they have read and understand the Dress Code as well as the Code of Conduct. Conduct, one's attitude, one’s mood, and one's tone of voice each of these actions form one's conduct. All throughout my twelve years of public education learning to conduct one's self in different situations had been a part of the education process. Aside from acquiring information placed inside books, I also gained some valuable life skills that I would later utilize in the workplace. During my job exploration, I recognized several common job requirements found in the work place, on the job, and in most careers, these commonalities include:

• • A Dress Code

  • Knowledge of Product/Company

  • Shows A Certain Level of Professionalism

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Requires little supervision

In most workplace situations, of all the commonalities the dress code and code of conduct without a question I believe both to be at the top of workplace list of requirements. Subsequently, Code of Conduct in the work place and on the job should be viewed equally important as the Dress Code. Now, I leave you with this final thought on Code of Conduct, what would the outcome have been if the shooter in Trayvon Martin case, the one lone soldier in Afghan who killed 16 Afghans in the middle of the night and the shooters in Tulsa who killed five black people, what would the outcome have been if the shooters had been mandated to read to follow and sign a Code of Conduct before purchasing a gun or using a firearm?

On A Final Note:At the beginning of this editor note, I spoke at lenght about making choices,usually,before I make a choice, I like to gather as much information as I am able to quickly comprehend to make an informed choice. And in all honesty, I am a staunch believer in making informed choices. Veritably, as I stated previously,often the choices that consumers and shoppers make affect every area of their lives from personal to professional to finances to relationships, the choices that each of us make often determines the future of a consumer and a shopper and affects plans for the future .Choices, the selecting of one thing, person, item, product, book, home, clothes, hair style, and shoes from the same or different group of stuff. Choices, each of us learned to make choices from parents,teacher, friends and co-workers, the process of making choices became an inherent part of our independence.As infants, adolescence and teens, many of the choices each of chose a parent, teacher,or grown-up assisted in making those choices. Eventually, after years of practice and observance a lot of us began to make choices on our own without assistance. Customarily ,a lot of the choices eachus of make isheavily influenced by television shows, newspaper articles, magazine columns and authors of books. While preparing this editor note, I reviewed some of my choices that remained on my plate (past, present, and future). For years, I have stated : to make no choice is to make a choice. Admittedly,I learned this valuable lesson from reading one of my women’s book of confidence. Since then__after learning that valuable lesson,I like to make choice regardless of the situation or condition. In other instances I have stated: it may not be the choice you like , and maybe you would have chosen differently under different conditions but at least you made a choice,so__stick with it, keep to it, and be true to your choice. In the month of March, I paused a lot to work on other things,specifically,I channeled a lot focuse on my first book What’s With All That Stuff,cacjohnson!#@!(A Shopper’s Guide to Better Shopping) to be officially released in April @ Xlibris.com. As result, during one of the moments that I stop to pause, I had the opportunity to view the Fantasia Barrino story, her story is a good example of the effects of choices that each of us make and the impact they have on the individual who makes them and those that surround them in the process of making choices. While viewing her story ,several scenes caught my attention,the first scene that caught my attention is when Fantasia told her family she was pregnant,the next scene that I really felt spoke to me the scene where Fantasia walks into the church and begind to sing, but the one scene that stood out the most is the scene where Fantasia is sitting in the welfare office and the social worker ask her "what do you do best? " Of course,all three scenes centered around making choices. All throughout the month of March, consumers, shoppers,manufactures,employers, employees, politicians, the government,and law enforcement each had to make some pretty tough choices daily from what item or product to buy,what clothes and shoes to wear to a job interview, which job applicant to hire, who is best to get the job done,which employer to work with for employment, what career is the best choice ,what bill to veto or pass, and so forth... Unequivocally, in the throes of recovery from the 2008 economic recession making choices continue to be a part of the Democratic process. With that said, one of the choices that got a lot support from the Facebook community,Mattel’s choice to make cancer Barbie. At the end of the day and all throughout the month of March, a lot choices were made in March some bad and some good.And finally , as I conclude this month's newsletter, I stop to consider thoughtfully on the question pose by actor Heath Ledger in the Dark Knight who plays the character the joker "Why so serious?"

A message from the Editor,Founder & President of csaccac Inc

Conversation of the heart with the editor: Savor the flavor &Get Twice the Luv with me, cacjohnson, and each month__Right here! __ in the csaccac Newsletter, as Editor-in-Chief, I’m proud to be back__for this__our third edition of the csaccac Newsletter. While, excitement and love is contagious during the month of February especially for couples both young and old, there’s a lot more to the month than the reuniting and merging of Love Birds. One of the shortest months in the year, the length of the month doesn't preclude it from being filled with events and special recognitions. Besides being designated as a month for couples, February has also been designated as Black History Month. While a number of organizations has also designated certain days in the month to promote their cause, for instance, Go Red For Women, and Black HiV Awareness, a large number of African Americans tend to focus mainly on the achievements of blacks who help to further the Civil Rights Moment.

Along with the various organizations promoting their cause, a myriad of consumers and shoppers utilize the latest social apps to meet new people, and promote the causes of their choice. At a young age, I learned the importance of Black History that would later be reinforced during my twelve years of public education. As a matter of fact, in the month of February, I often like to observe Black History Month by listening, viewing and reading stories of black pioneers. This year, I observed Black History by doing the following: listening to black pioneer stories, reading works written by black authors and writing a review of The Covenant With Black America. Dolefully, at the beginning of the month, Black America lost one of its music pioneers and one of its inspiring female vocalist of all time. On February 1st, the creator and producer of Soul Train past. At the age of 75, Don Cornelius, past, but his contribution to Black America will not be forgotten and certainly his contribution to Black America is worthy of recognition. In 1971, he entered American homes as a host, show casing music, and dance, Soul Train quickly became an American favorite among Black Americans. Don Cornelius introduced America to some of music business hottest acts, vocalist, and entertainers. Just as Soul Train began to hit the national circuit, a few months later I would be born. Believe it or not, one of the first two words I spoke as an infant happen to have been Soul Train. Throughout the years, I watched the show with my aunts and cousins often staying up late and waiting for the weekends just to catch a glimpse of the show and its lineup. Thanks to Don Cornelius, America got the opportunity to be a part of a cultural phenomenon. Diva, mom, sister, daughter, friend and one of the vocalist showcased on Soul Train, actress and entertainer, Whitney Houston died at the young age of 48. Her music inspired millions of women around the world, despite, her private personal struggle with love and addiction. As the sordid details of her untimely death slowly became made available in the month of February, one thing that's certain, Ms. Houston will be deeply miss by her fans. As a matter of fact, I first began listening to Whitney Houston in middle school. And in all honesty from the first time I heard her voice, I fell in love with her music; I especially liked her first and second album the most and to add to the list her recent release “I Look to you". On a personal note, this February definitely left a place in my heart to be fill.

The Art of Ex-communication: At birth, during infancy, each us learn to communicate from the grown-ups that surround us with their love and warmth. Communicating with others is something that each us had to learn to ensure that the grown-ups knew when each us wanted food, wanted to play, wanted to drink, and to communicate if something had been too hot or too cold. As infants, communication is something that is learned, in the infancy phase, it is up to the grown-ups surrounding the infant to teach the new born how to communicate thoughts and feelings. Eventually, as each us move through the different phases beginning with infancy, then the formative years, next, each us progress further in thought and communication in the pre adolescence and adolescence stage. Ultimately, each us arrive at the legal age to drive alone and drink with proper Id. Since my freshmen year college, ostensibly, the development stages that each us must follow that I learned in psychology 101 remains the same.

For years, I knew, I believed, and I did not repudiate communication as an art form. While many have emulated the art of communication, few have mastered the art of communication, I know from firsthand experience the importance of communication. Throughout the years, I have been a cashier, sales associate, supervisor, and teacher, unequivocally, each of these professions require communication skills. Even as a as blogger, and social connector, I communicate with people that might not possess the same communication skills. On the topic of communication, some of my fondest memories include, four years on the debate team in high school, the speech I gave to become class vice president, the oratorical contest I entered in high school that took me all the way to California for nationals, and the speech class I took my freshmen year in college. Communication and the Art of Communication begins at birth but must be practiced and develop throughout the maturation process. Webster New World Dictionary and Thesaurus define communication as "a giving or exchanging of information". Undisputably, each us communicate different towards family, friends, employers and co-workers, at the same time, each us have different communication skills and style. Particularly, for this month editor note when I mention the word communication, I am specifically referring to the way that each us share thoughts, feelings, and emotions. With that said, as consumer and shoppers ,it's also important to note that different types of communication exist ,for example, radio, social networking. Indeed, how each of us choose to communicate often determines the success of the relationships that each of choose to build. Traditionally, in American Culture, Valentine’s Day, Birthdays, and Anniversaries continues to remain the days when couple both young and old decide to communicate affection towards one another. Admittedly, as I stated previously, there’s several kinds, ways and methods to communicate; however, when it comes to building lasting relationships and marriages there only a few methods to effectively communicate to make relationships work, Dr John Gray explains in his book Men are From Mars and Women are From Venus, how one should communicate in a relationship. Without a question, throughout the years, I have had to learn to communicate with family,friends,employers, customers and co-workers. And, yes ,I stumbled along the way but I took each opportunity to practice and improve my communication skills.Egregiously, this month is not just about communication, it’s also about the Art of ex-communication. Exactly, what am I referring to? I’m specifically referring to the exs' or exes (i.e.) boyfriends, husbands, mates and companions. As it turns out, the Art of ex-communication is just as much of an art form as the Art of Communication. Ex-communication is basically the complete opposite of communication that often entails: no phone calls, no emails, no letters, and no tweets. In most instances, it’s the Art of ex-communication that as the cliché states: absence either makes the heart grow fonder or wander. The Art of Ex-Communication;Tw2yuL,TwtyL,LoL

Before & After:

Before I resigned from my teaching position in 2000,I had been on my way to a fulfilling life with a job in my degree area, complete autonomy from my parents and grandparents, in addition to love, wealth and travel. Twelve years after resigning from my teaching job, I have a new career, I’m using my talents and degree to be a service to others, although, the plan and path that I had set before me took a bend in the road I have become more in tuned to the world that I live in, stuff, and having what really matters. Most importantly with the experiences and lessons I learned each day out of the class room while I healed emotionally and spiritually,today, I am closer to fulfilling my god given purpose.

Alright! I'll expounded a little further,to say: the to field,the subject field,copy field,Greeting,body,closing and attatchments,all parts of an email depicts they way nearly all emails have been formatted. Normally,each part of an email gets filled out with the exception of the copy field abbreviated Cc. Initially,I sign up for an email account to receive updates from employers and local businesses. Not surprisingly,since then,I have signed up with several Social Networking Sites that also provide its users with email accounts. In my blog "Confession of an Email Addict" I reveal to readers that I have several email accounts. Of course,all of the loyal readers,members,sponsors and contributors who read the csaccac Newsletter and follow me at my other Social Networking Sites,certainly have first hand knowledged that I have at most ten email accounts.And to add to the fact that on any given day,I could be caught checking my emails__even on New Year's Eve. Although,I didnt personally send out emails on New Year's Eve,I received several emails on New Year's Eve. Figuratively speaking,as the countdown to the New Year began and the ball began to drop in the Big Apple,emails kept flowing into my Inbox. Among the New Year excitement and tradition,I continued to receive emails while American consumers and shoppers waited to bring in the New Year. Nowadays,emails have become a marketing and advertising tools frequently used by businesses to reach their targeted audience. However,from its inception a lot of users have complained about receiving useless and unwanted emails often referred to as "spam." For the past five years,I have had alot of spam pass through my Inbox. One of the most exasperating task in dealing with emails,I feel,in my particular case,ostensibly,email scams__without a doubt have caused me to use discrection,in addition to verifying email accounts,making certain that each email account I have subscribed to receive and at most a definite bon a fide email account. In one instance,Im looking at all of my emails with great scrutiny,seriousness and in the next instance I began to feel disconcerted at the number of unwanted,useless, and trivial email solicitations in my Inbox. Admittedly,an important part of my day and daily regimen includes checking my emails,religiously. Often,I fill so many different hats at the csaccac and at home,I really dont have the time to waste on unwanted and useless emails. For that reason,I like to sort through my emails and delete unwanted emails . Most of the time,when my Inbox gets too full,I delete all unwanted and useless emails. Not all of my emails have useless information,in the same respect not all of the emaild I have received have been unwanted.In any case_if you're remotely like me,a serious consumer and shopper than you definitely understand how important staying up to date with all of the latest news in the economy,the entertainment world, as well as with family,friends remains equally as important as wanting to be the first to receive alerts on all of the latest bargains,deals,and coupons from your favorite stores__then__You've got email.

Inbox& Outbox:

A brief glimpse at my email inbox and you quickly notice it's filled with a lot unread emails, beyond the obvious, you’ll also find that there's some emails I receive more frequently than other emails . Each day, I receive tons of emails. Even though, I received a lot emails, I don’t necessarily read them all especially if I think an email might contain a virus or be part of an email scam. As someone that frequently checks her emails, I look specifically at the emails that either I have subscribed to received, expected to receive from one of my Social Networking Sites and lastly received an incoming text from someone I know telling me to check my Inbox. As a result of filtering my emails, it’s not too difficult for me to spot unwanted and useless emails. After several years of checking my emails, I have found that it's not so much the task of checking my emails that bothersome, it’s the quality and types of emails that fill, overload, and bombard my Inbox that gets me hot and bothered. All throughout the years that I have been checking my emails, I have heard of people getting paid to check emails like Twitter had announced to pay people for tweeting when it first introduced its app to the public; nonetheless, it remained a rumor within my social sphere. When in all actuality__ both you and I know, I have performed both tasks very often and very frequently. Instead of keeping my silence, I have chosen to break the news, and my silence, in this statement: I have not been paid for checking my emails or tweeting. At this point, I’m not saying it’s a hoax, I’m sure that a small few of tech savvy consumers and shoppers have been paid, but I haven’t seen the dough. And in all honesty, whether I’m being paid or not, I don’t like to miss an email or a tweet for the fact that the day I don’t check my emails, I might miss an important message. And as for my Outbox, I thought I’d throw that in as a figurative form of speech. Typically, as a rule of thumb most of my unwanted and useless emails get deleted before they even get to my Outbox. Imperceptibly, because of the numerous unwanted and useless emails I receive daily along with the emails I have submitted subscription to receive, on any given day, I could be caught In&Out of my email box.

Small talk:

Meanwhile, 2012 arrived with bells and whistles signifying the New Year. For many consumers and shoppers bringing in the New Year remains an American tradition that they have grown to love from decades of tradition. And like most American consumers and shoppers celebrating the New Year also remains a tradition in my community. Although, all of my plans and goals that I set in the previous year didn’t get completed, I look forward to completing those goals in the New Year. From childhood to adulthood, I often believed celebrating the New Year held significant meaning, in the same breath; I felt it should be moment when consumers and shoppers rededicate themselves to their goals. Rededication meant even those consumers and shoppers who didn’t set or make goals could start at the beginning of the New Year. Conversely, while the celebrating of the New Year makes a good platform for starting small talk, I have to confess making small talk with complete strangers in the pass might of bothered me and caused me to feel awkward outside the sales floor, but after the economic recession of 2008, I have found it to be essential and an import part of building readership, membership and relationships. In fact ,I have not always been to fond of small talk outside the sales room floor, even though inculcated at young age, I learned to be polite to the most uncanny looking person mainly because that person could be my next employer. How well I rate at doing small talk you'll have to ask the people I have spoken with very briefly, I think they could better answer that question.

Most assuredly, no one should feel that they’re too old, too young, too short, too tall, too fat, too skinny, too big, too small, too stupid, too timid and too scared to make small talk. On the other side of the conversation, from all of the small talk that I have made, from a sales persons point view there's always room for improvement when you choose to make small talk.

Inside a chat room:Turning forty just before the New Year brought on an array emotions while I worked towards my goals and sought to get the word out about the work being done at csaccac. Having set a list of goals at beginning of the year, a newbie forty, I felt more pressure than ever to reach and accomplish each of the goals set at the beginning of the year. As a result, I entered a couple of chat rooms to reach potential members. First of all, I want to say, I didn’t like the idea of having to enter a chat room to get members. Undisputed, somewhere in the back of my mind, I had the preconceived notion that chat rooms had been created for child molesters, sex offenders, ex- convicts, and drug addicts, since I didn’t fit into any of those categories, I stayed away from chat rooms. Anyway, against the preconceived ideas, I developed from the news and magazines, I entered a chat room. No faces, fictitious names, undisclosed locations and random chats on an array of topics, sadly, all of the mention just so happen to be brief descriptions of most chat rooms in America and what makes being inside a chat room dangerous. At first, reluctant in the beginning to enter a chat room, at forty, I began randomly greetings strangers and looking for chat rooms and people with similar interest. Overall, what I found and learned about chat rooms_yes, chat rooms can be dangerous but they're also one of the many social networking tools that allow consumers and shoppers to meet other consumers and shoppers. One of the reasons, I didn't have a chat room nightmare mainly rested upon the fact__ I took control of the chat and kept it strictly business.

Chat room Rules:

As I stated previously, when I entered the chat room, I didn’t know much about chat rooms rules except from what I overheard from news broadcast over the years ;therefore, if I had broken the rules during my first chat room experience I might of emulated an scene from Clueless. While being inside a chat room staying on my P's and Q's inside the chat room kept me from falling prey to scams, predators, and getting booted out of the chat room. For years I had listen to the experts in psychology criminology, all attest to the dangers of chat rooms. Both concur that chat rooms present real danger in cases of minors entering inside chat room. Across the board and with much of the same information discussed on the news and in magazines consumers and shoppers must learn to be aware of what's going on inside a chat room and remember that all types of people go inside chat for all kinds of reasons_ so, stay on your P's and Q's.

New to the whole chat room experience, I later learned that chat rooms actual do have rules. After visiting several websites, I compiled these rules that seem to be universal in nearly all chat rooms.

-don’t reveal personal information

-all spam has been banned

-content should not contain sexual or lewd language

-choose appropriate usernames

-no reference to drugs

-and no Hate Speech.

To conclude, if you follow the rules then expect chat room Rules to rule

Seven deadly sins of Resolutions & Diets:

Deadly sins, the worst of all sins. Of all of the sins in the world deadly sins without a question could be consider the worst all sins that causes the most harm. Ostensibly, the name deadly sins certainly speak and boast of its deeds. Although, committing a sin doesn't always equate into a crime, sins of a consumer or shopper could cause harm to someone else other than to the consumer or shopper. Without a doubt, people sin every day. Complicity an example of sin that's termed as the partnership in another person wrong doing happens often than most consumers and shoppers might want to entertain. Likewise sin has been referred to as the negative adverse action people engage in knowing that it's wrong. Normally, in America, a tantamount of consumers and shoppers view sin as bad and not a good thing for a person to get involved with in society. Unequivocally, in American society there's a lot of stuff and temptation to make sin look good. Even so, resolutions and diets rarely get grouped into the sin category. Straight forwardly speaking, as a figure of speech I refer to Resolutions & Diets being a sin because often people go to extreme lengths to achieve both without thought of consequences or results; for instance, Nutri System, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Curves and a million other diet systems and programs all claim to work and promise results as long as the consumer or shopper follows the programs plan. At the age of forty, I have not personally tested or tried a particular diet plan for the simple fact, I dont feel a size one should have to diet. And in all honesty, I’m waiting for someone to develop a plan to put the fat on and not take it off. From as far back to the very first moment I learned what it meant to make a resolution, I observed that resolutions mainly had been reserved for New Years. Typically, resolutions state some simple plan of action that consumer or shopper wants to complete; for example, I stated as two of my New Year’s Resolution statements "I would like to blog more regularly" and "I want to blog like an expert blogger."Egregiously, a resolution could state almost anything that the consumer or shopper wants to achieve for just about all kinds of reasons.Essentially, the Seven Deadly Sins of Resolutions & Diets consist of all the beliefs and misconceptions that people automatically believe when making a resolution or starting a diet would achieve if kept.

A message from the editor founder & President:

Salud:T'is the season to give thanks, to express gratitude, to show love, peace, and goodwill towards all men, I love Christmas because it holds a lot of priceless memories and moments that I shared with family and friends. Egregiously, one of the best things about the holidays it is a time when consumers and shoppers alike take the time out of their busy lives to unpack the nostalgia, bring out the old family recipes and listen to the classic story of the birth of baby Jesus. From Christmas parades to Christmas parties, the meaning of the holiday remains the same as in biblical history. Christmas, a part from all of the gifts, parades, and parties has stood the test of time through Christian Faith base ministries and charities all over the world as a reminder to consumers and shoppers the birth of Jesus. While the meaning of Christmas _again remains true, it is today both a joyous and somber remembrance for many American consumer and shoppers who lost loved one serving in the military. Unmistakably,for a better choice of words, I am sometmes mistaken for a teen ,a newbie Forty, I remember the day at my place of residency with my mom and younger sibling. Also, I took a moment from the day to share a holiday photo with Face book family and friends as well as call my extended family in Florida. In spite of the hurdles that have stood in front of me as I reach for my goals, I am grateful and thankful to be able share with readers each month a tiny glimpse of my life. And as I continue to seek and fulfill the vision I for csaccac Inc, I want to invite you to share your family traditions, recipes, and shopping photos. Admittedly, the meaning of Christmas has been distorted over the years with the focus on shopping for presents instead of how the day originated. At the same time, the day has also encouraged young kids to make a wish list, create Ornaments, pick out Christmas trees, write letters to an anonymous character called Santa Claus and bake cookies on Christmas Eve. Sure___ Christmas has only one true meaning but for some consumers and shoppers who grew up in believing in fairytales, it’s a moment in time when "The Other Side of the Rainbow" is not a distant dream.

The Other Side of the Rainbow (2011 Most Memorable and Controversial Moments):

They inspire us to dream, to follow our dreams, and to never lose sight of our dreams. Rainbows in myth, folklore and fairytales for years have been a symbol of hope and good luck. One of the most quoted clichés that I vividly remember about Rainbows in my youth declared that "there's always a silver lining at the end of every Rainbow". And truthfully, I didn't know who coined the phrase then but it got quoted so much in my youth__ I think, I began to believe that all Rainbows held some kind of magical power. Although, Rainbows don't appear in the sky frequently when they do appear it is a wondrous sight to capture. Rainbows, they have caused little girls to believe in fairytales, the Irish in pots of gold and Christians to believe in paved streets of gold in heaven. So, what's with all the talk about Rainbows in December? Alright! You caught me; it’s fifty degrees outside; I’m all wrapped up in a sweater, skinny jeans, socks and boots with no Rainbow in sight. Ostensibly, a Rainbow is so wondrous and magical that anyone seeing it only once might feel the remnants long after seeing a Rainbow. Mystical and magical, Rainbows often stays in the subconscious after it appears. Veritably, Rainbows have been the thematic theme of sci-fantasy, art work, poetry and song. Specifically, I'm interested in Rainbows because of the symbolic meaning often attached to the viewing or sight of a Rainbow. At the same time, I'm really interested in Rainbows because as an English major, conscious reader, movie viewer, and blogger__ I've learned a lot about symbolism, metaphors, similies, and allusions. And, even though, Rainbows don't appear every day they remain a phenomenon. While Rainbows cause us to dream, one of the most prominent dreams that I immediately think of is the Hollywood dream. Exactly, what is the Hollywood dream? I define it as a small town local gal,girl or guy looking to make it big especially on the big screen, i.e meaning a Blockbuster Hollywood movie. Imperceptibly, nowadays, the Hollywood dream seems to have disportionate amount ups and downs. Like 2010, 2011 some memorable and controversial moments with dreams that became real, dreams deferred and dreams left in ruins. In spite of the previous years when little girls dreams came true at the rite of passage , American consumers and shoppers have opted to view other people's dream that's frequently displayed on television and posted on the internet. Before I go any further, let me say: I'm not an avid television viewer, I haven’t' been since I've been a small kid and learned how to turn the television knob. And in all honsety, its really annoying to me to watch any television show until its season finale, I prefer to wait until the show gets syndicated or inscribed on DVD __but that's just me. On the other hand, I loved to watch television during the holidays and catch all of the holiday specials which leads me to one of my favorite holiday specials The Wizard of Oz__you know the one where Judy Gar sings Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Quite astounding, the fact that since the lyrics to Somewhere Over the Rainbow first debut some of the music industry biggest artist have re-made and re-recorded the song. Conversely, it doesn't matter if Rainbows appear each day or very infrequently the meaning attached to Rainbows stays with us long after seeing them in the atmosphere. Certainly, the symbolic meaning attached to Rainbows continues to exist, Rainbows makes us believe and dream. Indeed 2011 might have gave way to some Rainbows but it definitely had some extreme highs and lows. A few days after I began this, I stood in my mom’s kitchen and began to make a list of what I felt had been some the memorable and questionable moments in 2011 ___here's what my list included:

What to Wear? (New Year's Nite): One of my favorite traditions celebrating the New Year. At a young age, I first came to love the New Year's Eve tradition at my grandmother's home. During the time that I lived with grandmother, I got to celebrate the New Year with grandmother, aunts and cousins. Vividly, I remember bringing in the New Year right in my grandmother’s ,what we called then, front room watching Dick Clark's Rockin New Year's Eve and all of the different music artist that had been lined up for the evening. Each year that I lived with my grandmother on New Year's Eve I 'd bring in the New Year with my grandmother ,aunts and Dick Clark, this went on for many years. Back then, I recall staying up late just to watch Dick Clark's Rockin News Year’s; it had been one of my favorite things to do on New Year’s. But what I recall that I like most about Dick clark Rockin New Year's Eve other than watching the different music artist perform more than music__one of the things I liked the most,without a question,the countdown to the New Year and watching the Big Apple drop. After some years of staying home on New Year's Eve my family added a new tradition on New Year's Eve that included going to watch the firework display at the beach. So, what happen to the New Year tradition, I came to love as a kid___I don't have to tell you because I know you already know the answer to that question since it arrives every year at the same time. All right, I tell you, forty years later , I still love to watch Dick Clark's Rockin New Year's Eve along with millions of other American consumers and shoppers. As I grew older, I couldn't wait until the day I got to attend a New Year's Eve party. Honestly, I don't remember my first New Year Eve's party but I know that I did not begin to attend New Year Eve's party until I began college that had to of been in my twenties. And, of course, what is New Year's Eve without the party favours, music, food, and booze? For the most part,I tend to think it’s not a well planned party. But__even more so__what's worse than a poorly planned party or attending a poorly planned party___ from a girl's point of view I’d have to say__ not having anything to wear next to unplanned guest. In the end, whether the party seems planned or unplanned, you should still arrive dress to impress. With all of that said , what should you wear to a New Year's Eve party__first of all, I’m not an expert on fashion but I have read a lot magazine and viewed several DVDs with party scenes in short I've gained some fashion sense that leads me to my first piece of advice wear something comfortable, I prefer a hassle free dress either in black or red, second bring a shawl or wrap in case you lose the nerve to flaunt what got but most importantly if there's a chill in the air and lastly check your pumps especially if you're planning to dance in the New Year. Ultimately, what to wear to a New Year's Eve party it's up to you just remember you still have to live up to every episode of Sex In The City and Gossip Girl.

BYOB(Money Too Tight To Mention) First Rule of thumb: planning to attend an informal party on New Year's Eve bring your own booze. It might be a little awkward and if you must know it’s not required unless the host put it on the invite but it's not as if haven’t been done before, anyway__Second Rule of thumb: planning to attend a formal party bring your own booze. Instead of paying for those pricey drinks at the bar or in fear of sipping on those homemade cocktails bring your booze. Besides, who wants to be a Grinch at New Year's Eve party?

A message from the Editor Founder & President of csaccac Inc:

First Day of School: All throughout my middle school, high school and even college years, I had not been a follower, a crowd pleaser, 0r a people pleaser. Often__ in my forty something years, I have quoted an old cliché “you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time” Particularly, for social conscious kids heading back-to-school, wanting to please the masses{ who trains and meticulous grooms} to get into the In-crowd, social acceptance usually becomes an obsessive behavior. When I was kid preparing to head back-to-school often caused both anxiety and excitement at my house; for example, the thought of making new friends and beginning a new school year often caused anxiety for me as well as the grown ups. Although, I experienced some fear of the dreaded unknown having a few new outfits to wear along with a new hairstyle somehow eased the fear of making new friends. Of course, I didn't know how the year would begin or end but I knew if I looked good which most of the time always made me feel good as a result when I went to school prepared , I felt could take on anything that the teachers had waiting to throw at me and the entire class. In most instances, I knew I would be able to survive the day with the right outfit. However, with the right attitude, I could survive the week. And with my homework assignments completed, I could survive the month. Ultimately, it would take a combination of both to get me through the year. Admittedly, on some days my self esteem would be shattered, but I'd go home disconcerted and mad at the world __only to wake up the next morning and do it all over again with a new outfit and a new hair style. During my pre adolescences and adolescences, specifically, the years I attended middle school dressing for success had been important to my surviving the first week of middle school. After the first week of school making new friends and being prepared with the right school supplies also became vitally important to my survival of surviving the first year of middle school. Even today dressing for success and being prepared with the right tech gadgets, phones, and education is important in getting the job, asking for a raise, and obtaining a promotion. From the time I was a very small, I learned the importance of dressing for success from my grandmother and parents. Even though, I wasn't a follower, or a crowd pleaser, I learned to conform to the rules of the public school system as well as the work place. For instance, if the school required no bare midriffs, I kept my stomach covered, if the school required no flip flops ,I wore a closed to dress heel and if the school stated no smoking in the bathroom, I just avoided the bathroom during my lunch break. Instead of totally avoiding the bathroom in high school, I just sprayed my can of extra stiff Aqua Net. As a matter fact, because of my non-confrontist attitude and willingness to adhere to the rules, I often got to participate and do thing s that the recalcitrant and refractory students had been shun from for the rest of their public school experience. Unless, they got wind of the conformist policy. At any rate, I had been permitted to be a media aide, walk the halls without a pass, leave school after lunch, and attend summer school. And in all honesty, I think everyone experiences first day jitters of attending middle school and high school, if they say didn't don't believe them and then only believe them if they played a sport really well. Certainly, having the right outfit and right school supplies helps a kid to start the year on the right foot. Y es, I've discussed this before in a blog heading back-to-school throughout the years for adults who once were kids (student) had been a crucial moment in their lives for some, middle school either built up their self esteem or crushed their persona. On a final note about heading back-to-school, as a new school year starts, parents and teachers should help to make the transition as less painful and Awkward for each kid.

School Lunch or Brown Bag: For years, kids throughout the United States have attended public schools and along with their public education they've received breakfast and lunch. While attending elementary school in the late seventies, my grandmother enrolled me in the free and reduce lunch program. Thirty years later, after my first day of elementary school and school lunch, public schools in the United States continue to serve breakfast and lunch to enrolled students. School lunches, I didn’t particularly hate or love school lunch in elementary school. Truthfully, breakfast, one of the most important meals of day, for a long time had been one of my favorite meals of the day since elementary school. For instance, on the days I woke up late or didn't have time to fix a bowl of oatmeal or cereal, I would rush to get to school to stand in line for breakfast. One of the best things about school lunches is that they did give the kids a choice, for example, a kid could choose cereal, a biscuit and sausage sandwich, or grits, eggs and sausage, of course the choices varied based on the time you arrived and our position in line. Overall, breakfast at my elementary school somewhat resembled what my grandmother served at home, so_ I didn't complain too much about breakfast. And school lunch provided to be the same, at lunch time the kids would stand line waiting to pick up a tray and be served by one of cafeteria workers all whom usually held a big silver ladle and asked the kids what would like on their tray.

Make no qualms about it school lunches have changed over the years from when I first stood in line at a public school cafeteria waiting to be served lunch. But, the one thing I like about school lunches it wasn't a dictatorship and there wasn't teacher standing behind you waiting to pull your ear if ate something deemed not so healthy. Some of the public school lunches I really like included: Mexican pizza, stuffed turkey and gravy, chicken tetterazini, Sheppard’s pie, ham & cheese casserole, hamburger on a bun, chicken pot pie, hot dogs and crinkle fries, with choice of white milk, chocolate milk or a fruit juice. After elementary school, I stop having breakfast at school and only had lunch in middle school and some days I didn't have lunch. Recently, the food pyramid that I had lived by for years and memorized like I memorized the multiplication chart has been replace with plate. Now that I'm all grown up, my eating habits have changed but didn't happen overnight it took some time, some work and a conscious choice to make a difference in my life. Although, I'm open to change, I really prefer the food pyramid. ___I pause here for a moment to play kids advocate, kids having at least one nutritionist meal during the day while in public school, I believe is important . Whether or not the meal should be only vegetarian or completely sugar free__Let's say today I would probably get kicked out of school for bouncing off the walls because of an adverse allergic reaction to a cafeteria lunch. So___ instead of being a dictator or cafeteria police(monitor) of school lunches , I propose the democratic way let the kids vote on school lunches and when all else fails give them a kids choice and a healthy choice.

Grown ups & Kids: At first, I thought it was some kind of cruel joke someone taking all of the kids cereal off the shelf along with sugar that's not manmade and replacing it with stuff from the health food store. Initially, my thoughts ran rampant is this kind of get rich scheme to get all the money in the world by making people buy food found in the health food store___ often over priced and only makes a meal for two. How on earth could anyone feed a family of five with over price health food? Immediately, I knew I had to do something because when I was kid I had a choice and I just could sit by during this Democratic election and watch the choices I had as a kid being flushed down a toilet. With all of this grown up stuff going on and unemployment remaining at 9.1% it’s easy to get lost in our own troubles and forget that Cheerios, Kellogg’s Corn Flake, WheatiesFrosted Flakes, Raisin Bran ,Wheaties and Rice Krispies that they're grown up cereals while on the other hand, Sugar Corn Pops, Honey Combs, Honey Smacks, Fruity Pebbles, Coco Pebbles are kids cereal . Thank goodness!!! for all of the diffrent types of cereals on the shelves both for grown ups and kids to choose (Quaker Oats, Kellogs & Post cereal) Cooperative ed is a little vernacular, I learned along the way as youth during my tour down the cereal aisle. At any rate,instead of doing away completely with sugary cereals ,I suggested making a trial mix with each different type of cereal . Besides no one likes to be the party grinch__And even grown ups like to be a kid sometime. Finally, I don't mind eating healthier now that I've turned forty it's only natural because I've been through a maturation process. ___And, I really don't mind eating healthy as long as I get the prize at the bottom of the box just like when I was kid eating a box of cracker jacks.
