Post date: Apr 21, 2016 4:26:24 AM

A message from theEditor, Founder & President of csaccac Inc;_twice the Luv,it’s good to be here with a new chat,I finally made my way back to a new chat after months of tussling through winter courses at Strayer. For the month of March, this chat takes a turn as I pause for moment to discuss the power of vocabulary. I strongly believe in the power of vocabulary, so when March comes around and I hear the words “Beware the Ides of March” or “March Madness” I get a little cautious and watchful of the days because I often think the phrases set the tone for the month. So,I’m reminded that two Editor Notes ago I threw out the phrases. If you’ve been following the Editor Notes and the csaccac calendar then you know March is a very busy for this Editor, the month is filled with national dates and events. As an aspiring business professional(entrepreneur) and business student life often gets very hectic, one of the ways I like track of dates and events is with a calendar and daily planner. Call it madness if you like,I prefer a little demanding and hectic. Somewhat outrageous, even with the many tech gadgets (tablets and smartphones) I make time to update and check csaccac calendar,I say it outrageous because tech gadgets is making some task obsolete at any rate I continue to prefer a paperback calendar as well a back up copy and hard copy of important dates and events in my planner. So with calendar and planner in hand it’s time to March into Greatness, March is the time of the year when I pause from everything to take a long look at the calendar to memorize dates and events. March is one month that I give extra attention, one reason for the attention March is National Women’s History Month and as a member of the National Women’s History Project (NWHP) the month holds both profound and symbolic meaning not only for myself as Editor,Founder and President of csaccac Inc, but for all women with an interest in equality and women’s right.

As I began this chat for month of March, I briefly spoke of the power of vocabulary, between being a business profession, student at a Strayer and home life, I have moments some good and some not so good. From past years, one lesson that I’ve learned that helps to defuse and lessen the intensity of uncomfortable situations is the power of vocabulary. In situations when I feel anger or think I'm mad as hxxx, I might say I'm a bit upset or I'm feeling unpleasant which lessen the intensity of the situation. In other instances, I could be sitting in class or waiting for a taxi and begin to feel impatient ,I might say I’m experiencing some discomfort or Im little bothered or exasperated with the situation which is often a sign that I a take a few minutes to calm my thoughts regain focus both helps to lessen the intensity of the situation. As Editor, I believe vocabulary is a powerful tool, I also believe the vocabulary a person choses to use has the power to changes attitudes and situations. A powerful tool vocabulary helps to frame perceptions and in certain situations could lessen the intensity of uncomfortable situations. Of course, there’s been numerous moments when my vocabulary hasn't lined up with my belief_for this reason it is important to practice positive vocabulary as often as necessary when especially in public places. Back to the calendar,it’s March and this year National Women’s History Month theme: Working to Form a more Perfect Union: Honoring Women In Public Service and Government, the NWHP website offers members and visitors a great amount information about the month along with information about when and where the NWHP began at www.nwhp.org_.

The other big event of 2016 occurs in March, Super Tuesday is a big day for American voters it is the time when voters head to the poll to narrow candidates in both of the political parties.

Two other important dates I cannot forget Barbie’s birthday and Founder’s Day of GSUSA (Girl Scouts USA),. This March I plan to March into Greatness with good signs all through month and the luck of the Irish on St Patrick’s Day, I know as Strayer student in the BBA program I could use a little luck. The end of winter courses is near, andvright at this moment,Ive reached the end of this chat so as I head to the Editor's Desk to write a few notes, as the Editor of csaccac eNewsletter I want say Thanks for checking-in with the csaccac , it’s been a good chat, until the next chat Savor the Flavor &Get twice the Luv.
