A Note from the Editor,

The American people has endured through natural disaster, senseless crime, unexplained violence, and terrorist attacks_, and dolefully each of these acts has really tested the human spirit. With the ebb and flow of life (birth and death), the daily routines, weekly schedules, to-do-list, and appointments sometimes leaves each of us feeling exasperated to an extent of sadness especially for family and friends who in passing touched our hearts and our lives, but could not be with us in the present to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary or graduation. For those (family and friends) who spirits remain among us in thoughts, words (poems), song (lyrics), acts of kindness, and family pictures, their stories told by family, friends and loved ones often helps to ease the pain and hurt, the life of each to be remember and honored to give thanks in a small way for each life and the meaning and value added to each and every person touched by their life. Almost 13 years after the 9/11 attacks, an act of terrorist that forever changed the lives of the American people, the memorial to honor and remember the lives of those lost has become a symbol and a testament to the strength, unity, and commitment of the American people to never forget the day. On September 11, 2014, at exactly 12 midnight, I paused from a moment to remember the lives of those lost on 9/11 with a post on Facebook, a tweet on Twitter, and I also listened and viewed the memorial speech given in New York. First as an American citizen, I realize the value of each life, then as Editor of the csaccac eNewsletter I also realize the importance of life and the potential life has with it reaches maturates, in such realization the magnitude of such loss of life in 9/11 certainly reminds us all to appreciate life, and to be thankful for each day.

Sincerely,
