As Founder and President of csaccac Inc, I'd like to take this moment to give recognition to the President elect of the United States efforts to get Americans back to work. With the American Jobs Act becoming fully effective, many Americans from the implementation of this act will be able to return work while those who become unemployed will be able to receive additional benefits. From 2000-2005, I had been unemployed and homeless living in my 1985 4 door Toyota Corolla LE with a sunroof. During the time I had been unemployed and homeless, I continued to search for jobs. Although, I qualified for unemployment benefits, the amount I receieved didnt cover the cost of living expenses. Sadly, being out of work cost me lost wages, medical benefits, housing and even a home cooked meal. Furthermore, it cost me respect from those who maintained employment, I dealt a lot with ignorance and discrimmination that I had not experienced during my employed years or in close my circle of friends. Moreover, I slowly began to feel shunned from society. At that point, I felt less than human, I began to aggressively seek for work. Today,I press forward with my goals to help unemployed Americans and American families. To conclude, from the perspective of someone who had been unemployed and homeless, I feel that American Jobs Act is a step in the right direction.

Sincerely

Jamala M Johnson
