There are numerous ways to convey different messages and to communicate with a group of people life’s lessons and passions. From observance over the years , Ive observed that some people choose to communicate their life’s lessons and passion through music and song while others choose to commnuicate with dance,as I spoke of in February's section Moments in Black: Judith Jamison and the Alvin Ailey Dancers. As an Author,Blogger,Editor, and Educator I choose to convey and communicate many of life’s lessons and passions with words. Meaningful expression through words has the power to change lives, as Ive learned from the many women’s devotional and self help books Ive read in previous years, the words choosen and spoken to communicate with others often has a powerful affect on a person attitude and behavior. Words,I became interested in words at a young age as elementary student in the third grade during a Language Arts lessons. One of my favorite subjects then and now Language Arts,begining with the sentence and endidng with the punctuation marks. As I continued to progress in each subject and grade, I did not give up my love for words or my penchant for the English Lanaguage. I recall being inspired in my 8th and 9th grade English classes to persue English futher from poem memorization to essays and vocabulary quizzes, I stayed with my love for English Language and words. At the end of my senior in highschool, when the time arrived for me to apply to colleges, I had already participated in several interest from the Girl Scouts to Track And Field to the Debate team to SGA (Student Government Association),after particating in several interest,I kept my love for English Language and words.In fact, the first degree I received in 1997 from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Education. And to be truthful I profess to have many loves ;however, the English Language and Education I profess as my first two loves. Years later, I chose to put my love for the English Language, words, as well as my degree to work_I began with a blog in 2006 called A Day & Life of A Consumer Affairs Consultant Sales & Service Manager: My Life as a consumer including notes about my shopping habits before & after college. Then a few yearslater, in 2012 I wrote my first book, What’s With All That Stuff,cacjohnson!#@!(A Shopper’s Guide to Better Shopping). 2016, I continue to blog ,I ve also added an author’s corner to my blog,the major task on my to-do-list to complete the sequel to my first Every Girls Guide to Stuff On A Budget. As an Author,Blogger,Editor and Educator, the goal I want to achieve other than a mass following members a nd readers__,I want to inspire and motivate others to break out of their shell and follow their life’s passion.
