While I am thankful for each day, blessed to have lived and shared my life with many,my prayers and thoughts I send to the families of those whose has lost loved ones to Hazing, Gang Violence, Violent Crimes and Hate Crimes, your pain is shared with the world and is everyone's pain, there is know greater pain than that of the lost of a life taking to soon, or taken unexpectedly such as that of a beloved pet, family friend, classmates, servicemen, parent, child or grand parent . As an Author,Editor, and Blogger, but most of all as a human being, a citizen of this earth,it seems unrealistic to believe that one could live on this earth and not have respect for life and those who died fighting for freedom and democracy or for those who died while paving the way for the others_,life is a gift from the omnipotent and it should be valued and respected in this country and in foreign lands. A classmate said it best the other day, during his presentation"I don"t know everything"and there is know greater truth than accepting the truth "I don't know everything",it eases the acceptance of our realities, the worlds and places that shaped each of us, and the life that each of us has come to choose. One truth that I accepted many years ago, and has kept with me over the years is that each and every life has a reason, has a purpose, and meaning on this earth and in the heavens and in the stars, this means no matter what I think of the other person, how horrific I might feel the pain this person has inflicted on others as cliches states you "don't take matters into your hands", you"don't give into the enemy",and you "dont tell people how to live their life"especially grown folk but what you do and can do is be a living example like Jesus and the disciples, as Jesus stated in the new testament "forgive as I have forgiven you" because the truth is and Jesus said first "isnt it much easier to love your neighbor than to love your enemy" Praise God ,I loved them both. After being shot at the day after Easter, the realization that I am not invincible that death is a part of the ebb and flow life only made the realization of the greater importance of making each and every day count not only for myself (personally ) but for others and to live life with a passion and a purpose. One my favorite cliches I first heard from my drama/theater teacher "all the world is a stage and you only get one dress rehearsal" Jesus that robe and those sandals, they must of really made a lasting a impression on whole lot of folks.------twice the Luv
