XLIII. "Music and love are surely next of kin"

Music and love are surely next of kin;

For when by mystery of vague star s

I hear Love-song and lute-lay wafted

o'er the mere Timed by the plash of oars; or when begin The thrilling pulses of the violin To vibrate in the chamber of mine ear; Then can I never check the rising tear, And my hand misses thine to nestle in. Yes, on the storm of orchestras, the might Of the tempestuous plumes of choral song, Thy form arises winged; an angel throng

From beginning to end,the 57th Presidential Inauguration inducting for a second term the first Afro-american President of the United States was a beautiful serenade.On January 21st,the morning began a lot different than the typical morning of an average work week. Instead of the local news covering weather,traffic,and the previous day events,newsroom across the United States broadcasted tributes to MLk and the first Afro-american President. For a tantamount of Democratic supporters, the day began with anticipation,hope,love,confidence and the expectancy of the first Afro-american President to be sworn in for a second time.Throughout day and well into evening hours the day was commerated with speeches and parades. A country serenaded by its leader and a leader serenaded by his country through speech and song,it was a beautiful serenade. And while the Martin Luther King holiday shared the day with the 44th President, it was day filled with hope and promise that many American citizens captured in words and pics to passed down to their children and grand children. As a voter,a writer,an educator,a motivator,a social connector,and an editor,I will remember the day as an endless serenade to two great men a Civil Rights Leader and A Political Activist whom worked to better all of mankind.
