Our History is Our Strength

A is for ageless beauty, it is the type of beauty that comes from within a woman and radiates on the outside.

B is for belief, it is what a woman strongly believes in upholds, keeps, and does not compromise in any situation.

C is for cessation, it is the moment when a woman cease being career minded and puts aside her own ambition to stand up for a cause .

D is for deference, it is the respect a woman gives to another woman in spite of differences. It is the respect that each woman shows for another woman's belief,religion,choice of style, hair do and even men.

E is for effulgence, it is the type of shine or glow that emanates from a woman who knows who she is among naysayers ,disbeliever,haters,critics,anyone else who doesn't respect her uniqueness to be her ,most importantly, effulgence is the type of shine that glows from a woman who loves who she is including her imperfections.

F is for fighter,and it is not the type of woman that fights with her man ,co-wokers or family all of the time,I called her fighter because it is her inner strength that pushes her to persevere, endure,press,to give birth,to stand up and be counted,to say boldly "I am someone",to be resilent and to jump in the fight for Women's Right to be counted and heard.

Women,multifaceted and multifarious,frequently exude these attributes everyday at home and at work as State Representatives,Congresswomen, nurses, nurse practitioners,teachers,teacher's assistants,deans,professors,guidance counselors,veterinarians,dental assistants,para legals,caregivers,homemakers,mothers,wives,sisters,aunt,best friends and sister girl friends. Women, the well spring of life,at times during history have been forth right and outspoken. Amazingly,women are magnificently created, skillfully,soundly put together and ebullient. Despite effeminate qualities,women have been non-conformist and no non sense , take no prisoners, no holds barred activist since the beginning of the Women Rights Movement also called (W omen’s Suffrage Movement.) Unequivocally,the Women 's Right Movement paved the way for women to vote and work along side men.Women,women of all different colors: white,black,brown,caramel,coco,pecan,tan,beige,and light beige have stood together during some of history's most critical moments and landmark decisions regarding women.Putting aside petty grieveances,qualms,grips,and jealousies,women,tall,short,big,small,fat and skinny have shown that no matter the size or shape when women get together to fight for causes pertaining toWomen's Right that as women we can get along and even more so get the message the out as Martin Luther King stated during the Civil Rights Movement "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice every where."

Women,women such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton;Susan B. Anthony;Lucy Stone;Lucretia Hall;Margaret Sanger;Harriet Tubman;Sojouner Truth;Frances Willard; and Dorothea Dix these women and many others paved the way for Wome'ns Right at the verybeginning of the movement. While womensuch as Geraldine Ferraro,Sandra Day O'Connor,Eleanor Roosevelt,Eugenie Anderson,Elizabeth Dole ,Patricia Roberts Harris, Shirley Chislom plus other s help further the rights of women as well as continued the movement and kept the movement strong in the late ninetenth century. Women, the well spring of life have shown through the sacredness of the womb and American History,Black History,Indian History, the Spanish Armada, the Spanish Inquisition and French History that "Our History is Our Strength"
