History is often told from a historical point of view;in other words, events, facts, and the significant contributions of the men and women who has helped to improve the social and economic conditions in the US is often told in chronological order. Based on events and facts from the past and the present, history is a record of events told as they occurred during a specific time or era. Particularly, in the United States it is common for US American citizens to celebrate both American and Afro American History. Even though , throughout the years, the veracity and exactness of certain events has been questioned, historical events and facts recorded in history remains a teaching point to millions of Americans. Regardless of the many disputes and debates pertaining to the accuracy of events and facts recorded in history,it is a well known fact too many and a celebrated truth in the Afro American community that Civil Rights Leader,Martin Luther King life's work has had a great impact on the Afro American community. Six decades later in the United States, history is once again being enacted. Following the lead of numerous Afro American activist, civil rights leaders and educators, the first Afro American President in US history is reaching new heights, making great strides ,in addition to history books. In fact he has awed million of Americans with his winning bid for a second term as President of the United States. 2013,the first Afro American President will once again make history during his inauguration. Originally scheduled on January 21st,due to schedule conflict, the Presidential Inauguration has been set back a day. Seemingly, the Presidential Inauguration encroached upon the Martin Luther King National Holiday. According to news reports this is the second time a Presidential Inauguration encroached upon the National Holiday. Apparently,Bill Clinton the 42nd President of the United States inauguration also fell on this day. From a historical point of view,as the old cliche states, apparently" history has a way of repeating its self."
