"Tolerance is the positive and cordial effort to understand another's beliefs,practices, and habits without necessarily sharing or accepting them."---Joshua Lieberman April 2013

A message from the Editor,Founder and President csaccac Inc;

Connect & Share: People,Places,Things,Resumes,Jobs,Consumer Alerts,Weather Alerts,Buy,Sell,Trade and a lot of other task,these days anyone with an internet connection could instantly post a status up date to all the latest social apps. 365 days of shopping on one of those days,Im at my place of residency navigating through the maze of Social media and Social Networking,when suddenly Im reminded that Spring has arrived. As I look around,all of the signs of Spring time has come to full view,warm weather,change of fashion,new receipes,and new lipstick colors. At forty-something,I tolerate a little more of certain people,fashion,foods,tech gadgets, events,actions,and other things a little bit more each year than previous years as a form of nonviolent protest,social conformity and compliance. Speaking of building up tolerance,as teen I tolerated a lot stuff because I feared being punished,picked on,and hated by my peer group,at the age of thirteen,specifically,middle school age,every girl and guy wants to be liked and wants to fit in with the "in-crowd..."Hold on a minute,there's nothing wrong with your screen,____you didn't stumble upon this page by accident or click the wrong link,this is a message from the Editor of the csaccac eNewsletter because you (the consumer and shopper) matter, I've written a message just for you. In fact,I write different message each month on a variety consumer topics.For those of you new to the chat____Don't touch that mouse,Stick with me,Stay on the page,Im logged on but I won't be signed in for long,I promise not to take up too much of your time,because I know you've got other Social engagements (Facebook,Twitter,MySpace,Pintrest,Instagram,LinkedIn,Wordpress,YouTube...) I get the gist. Soooo__ Savor the flavor and Get Twice the Luv,and a warm Welcome. As if too many Thanks is never enough,I feel same about welcoming new readers,new members and new visitors,Welcome,Welcome,Welcome to the csaccac eNewsletter,I hope you enjoy this issue of the csaccac eNewsletter,at the same time,I hope that you find your way back to the csaccac eNewsletter each month.And as always ,much Luv,Pink Luv to each returning member and visitor,I write these notes for each of you and all of the conscious caring consumers .Truthfully, it really means a lot to know that there's other consumers and shoppers who share similar interest. And in all honesty,you motivate me ,you drive me and you make me to want to bring the best in customer service and consumer news. An amazing journey,one that has just begun__ I'm delighted,elated and pleased you've found your way to our monthly chat___soooo much has happened since the last chat,I can't tell it all but I do have to keep it to minimum(space requirements). Packed full of events and activities,the month of March kept me very much engaged with Social media,as I promoted National Women's History month,prepared for April 15th tax deadline,Invited new connections to connect with me on LinkedIn,sorted through emails,updated Facebook and Twitter accounts,brush up on Va notary laws and rules and search for a product of the month that as of today I havent announced. Eventhough,I write down my to-do-list and backed it up on my Smart Phone__ it never fails that I have to pray "To accept the things I cannot change,and the courage to change those things within my grasp". At the beginning of this Editor note ,I began the chat with a topic Im all to familiar with tolerance,a word that I have equated over the years to mean acceptance. On numerous days,I've had to learn to tolerate my work conditions,living conditions,economic conditions,who I am and what I stand for even when to tolerate those conditions or situations didn't help to make me feel confident or feel good about the skin-im-in. Learning to be tolerant of myself,other writers,and,authors, as inspring Editor,straight forwardly speaking, it has been a monumental task,a huge project,and a methodical process, within a constantly evolving industry with a lot ups and downs.

A Five Letter Word: Yes,I knew that I would have my hands full with a ton of work ahead of me to be written,read,proofread,revised,spell checked,and edited. An inspiring Editor,I knew it could be done,it had been done so many times before__apparently,I had a hang up,a fire wall,a brain freeze,as well as a long list of do's and dont's plus stereotypes trapped in my subconscious. How could I ever get beyond the same popsicle mold when popsicles come in so many different sizes,colors, and shapes,__ and what about the freezer burn from letting the popsicle stay in the frig for months because I wanted to try my hands at something else ? All of theses questions bouncing around in the hemisphere like a bad television series waiting for syndication. Then,the number one question pops up___ standing out in forefront of the sea questions I conjured up,listed,evaluated,and pondered upon on the path to being an Editor that simply stated "Do I have what it takes to be an awarding Editor?" Outrageously truthful,even when I hadn't been thinking about awards or accolades,I had to ask. When in fact the truth of matter had been at that particular moment,I was thinking about the thousands of consumers and shoppers I could help and influence with my lessons,experiences and words .Truthfully,I had already exceed my limits way before deciding to become an Editor and publishing the first monthly csaccac Newsletter,in the words of Eleanor Roosevelt,"You must do the things you think you cannot do" if that makes any sense at all,"The only sense that is common in the long run is the sense of change__and we all instinctively avoid it ". My saving grace towards end of the day has been to find meaning in all that I do this has kept me sane and focused. At the beginning stages of the csaccac Newsletter,I'll admit,I questioned during the creation of the Newsletter "What on God's green earth would possess me to want to be an Editor or a Consumer Reporter ?" On the whole,openly speaking ,the experience___the entire process has often felt surreal. Reflecting upon the past four years,I've experienced moments that Ive been speechless,situations I couldn't explain,days when I looked crazy,days when I felt crazy, I've had weeks when I didnt know where the process would lead me ,I've been at my wits end, Ive had the wind knocked out of me,and I've watched others excel and surpass at the one thing that keeps me up late at night,___ and wakes me up in the morning. Yeah,those five letter words and not so dirty words,E-D-I-T-O-R,Editor. Four years later,a book,a blog,several well written articles,and Im still not convinced that it's out of my grasp or range. A wet-n-wild ride during the summer months, a blanket full of snow,lots of hot chocolate,including frozen hands and toes to show for defiance, during the winter months,for the better half of the journey,I'd wouldn't trade the experience for anything in the world except for a pair of insulated leather gloves during the winter months and a hot bikini bottom during the summer months. Somewhere totally immersed in the idea of being an Editor,to make a long story short ,the one half that remains missing__well, that's the half of the journey,I kicked into survival mode. Certainly,Im not obsessing over it,although,it's stuck to my brain like a sticky note,Editor,Survival mode,along with Consumer Reporter,Social Connector,Free Lance Writer, Author,and Hot bikini bottom. With a long list of obstacles,setbacks hurdles,and reason after reason why I should of threw my hands in the air, whenI could of said Im not writing for anyone,Im not writin one more word,a greater presence took over,and I chose not to be a victim. From the moment, I made a split second decision to not be a victim,from that point on,I didn't give- up,I didn't give- in______,to get here,to arrive at this destination,the fourth year of the csaccac eNewsletter and Newsletter, I had to put aside any lingering anger,resentment,bitternness,and discord towards people,work and life in general. Consciously,I chose to take the focus off of what I hadn't accomplished in life at forty-something. Instead,I chose to consciously focus and tunnel my energy on the lessons I'd learned from my experiences and how those experiences could help to improve lives as well as help others to reach their goals. Since becoming the Editor of the csaccac eNewsletter and Newsletter,I've covered an array topics from Getting Out of Debt, to OwningPink,to Celebrating Traditions,to Creating A Realistic You,to Becoming A Better Shopper. Veritably, it's a tremendous honor,and endeavor worth pursuing each month,the opportunity to chat with you about social topics that affects all consumers.

Press Send: For instance,recently,I received through one of my email accounts an email informing me that Hotmail.com had converted to Microsoft Outlook.com. If you're like me,or remotely exude habits similar to frequently updating post or constantly checking emails,or even if you think you have all the tendencies of an email addict,regardless of the habit or tendency, the truth is thousands of consumers and shoppers swear by their emails,therefore,any small or major change concerning an email or emails sends red flags.Emails,the age of the e-mail (electronic mail),remarkably, emails has survived the sms craze, and the text messaging craze. Emails,for many years had been the preferred way to communicate with office personnel,contact local businesses,and a quickest way to create a buzz in the marketing world. Shortly after the email phenomenon began to catch on with consumers and shoppers,some employers found it cost efficient as well as convenient to accept cover letters and resumed via email. Of course,consumers and shoppers at the beginning of the email phenomenon had to learn e-mail ettiquette for the work place including how to address email recipients. Today,e-mail senders and account holders can't scroll through their emails without being on alert for scams ,spam,identity theft and hackers. A powerful tool of communication,an internet user with an email account could send an email anywhere throughout the world. E-mail safety remains a big consumer safety issue among American consumers and shoppers because no one wants to open a email with a virus that wipeouts or completely erases all their files. So,you can image how I felt and how happy I was to hear that Hotmail.com had converted to Microsoft Outlook.com without erasing all my emails. Apparently,the folks at Hotmail.com wanted to make the transition a smooth process without a bunch of noise from email account holders. Very courteously, the folks at Hotmail.com took the time to save all my emails as well as create a folder for older emails,glad to know I wasn't hacked. One thing Ive learned within these four year,as an Editor,and a Consumer Reporter, Consumer news could be hiding in your spam,or staring at you in an email. In addition to consumer news hiding in emails, Ive also learned that Consumer news could be waiting to be exposed in some of the most frequently visited social apps and public places.

Proceed with Caution:Tragically,while I was preparing this months newsletter a bomb was detonated at the Boston marathon,in Boston Massachusetts. Honestly,these day I frequently feel forlon,disconcerted,at lost of words,I get apprehensive,reticent,and reluctant to Social Network at the report of such well planned acts crimes,especially as a Social Connector because I dont know who could be a terrorist,or plotting a terrible crime. Without a doubt,it has become a part of life I learned to tolerate to think Safety First when performing daily task. Despite the many efforts I ve attempted to go without a to-do-list,at some point during the week I start writing stuff down. It's not unusual for me to have this long to-do-list each month and everything on it could be #1 then I have to pray to remember it all. It really does makes it hard for me to walk outdoor in the morning and in the afternoon,first I have to check everything on the to do list then think quick Safety First,it's absurd. Even more absurd, the time it takes me to get dress in the morning plus I have to remember to feed the cat and the dog at forty-something. If the bombing at the Boston marathon wasnt a big enough wake up call for you, the Texas mining explosion probably made you feel like America has only thirteen original states Las Vegas Nevada,Colorado Springs,Chicago,North Carolina,Ohio,Utah,Indiana,Delware,Tennessee,Alaska,Wyoming,Connecticut,Illinois,Illinois,Illinois,all jokes a side,public safety continues be a concern for a myriad of American after the 9/11 attacks in 2001,sadly, it is altering the way American consumers and shoppers network and do business across the United State.
