October 5, 2023- Flu and pneumococcal vaccination program was conducted last October 5, 2023 and a total of 162 individuals were vaccinated with flu and pneumococcal vaccine. This program strongly supports SDG 3 Good health and well-being which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being at all ages.

It was participated by individuals aged 40 and above who have not received a flu and pneumococcal vaccine yet. Pneumococcal vaccination is essential in preventing serious infections such as pneumonia, meningitis and blood stream infections. The beneficiaries of these program are senior citizen and person with special needs/disability and person with comorbidity.

It is a yearly community outreach program of the University which aims to promote health and well-being in Barangay, Longbeach in San Agustin Romblon.  This initiative has a profound impact on the community health and well-being, which lead to enhancing public health safety and stability.
