October 17, 2024 - Romblon State University has successfully commenced its Management Review for 2024, a key event aimed at evaluating and enhancing the university’s performance across various critical areas. Held from October 17-18 at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Building, the review was facilitated by the Quality Assurance Office and attended by RSU's top officials, led by University President Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani, along with key unit heads, deans, and directors.

The 2-day event focused on assessing the university’s processes and achievements in the fields of Academic Affairs, Student Services, Administration and Finance, Research, Extension, Development, and Innovation. This comprehensive review provided an opportunity for RSU’s leadership to reflect on the institution's accomplishments, address challenges, and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Throughout the review, various unit heads presented detailed reports, including:

• Campus Management Review Report

• Status of Actions from Previous Reviews

• Changes in Internal and External Issues

• Learner and Stakeholder Satisfaction and Feedback

• Achievement of Educational Objectives and Process Performance

• Service Conformity, Monitoring, and Measurement Results

• Audit Results

These inputs facilitated in-depth discussions aimed at aligning RSU’s strategies with its commitment to academic excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The review process also served as a platform for RSU’s leadership to examine the effectiveness of its innovative projects and services while identifying actionable steps to strengthen the university’s overall performance.

In her opening address, Dr. Catajay-Mani emphasized the significance of the Management Review in driving RSU’s continuous improvement efforts, saying, "Our goal is to ensure that RSU not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our learners and stakeholders.
