August 30, 2024 -The College of Business and Accountancy, in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Agnocnoc, successfully conducted their training workshop titled, “Project AHON: Advancing Human Opportunities Now” at Tonton Beach Resort, Ferrol, Romblon on August 30, 2024.
This initiative aimed to equip the beneficiaries with the necessary skills and mindset to embark on entrepreneurial ventures. The workshop featured a dual focus: fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and delivering a practical, hands-on session in table skirting.
Participants responded positively to the training, expressing appreciation for the knowledge gained and highlighting the significant boost in confidence they received, which they can apply within their respective communities.
The extension project was spearheaded by Ms. Joanne R. Dalisay, the College Extension Chairperson, together with Ms. Evaliza F. Moreno, who provided expert guidance on entrepreneurial mindset development and Ms. Olga G. Eledia, who led the table skirting skills session. The facilitator, Mr. John Ferdz Isaac B. Cruz, and Ms. Mariane S. Foja, further supported the workshop. The success of the event was strengthened by the collaboration of faculty members namely Ms. Wennie D. Fajutnao, Ms. Irene F. Fadera, Ms. Gina V. Mapalad, Ms. Janine M. Faminialan, and Ms. Ann Lorainne S. Amar.
Also present were the Barangay Agnocnoc officials, whose collective efforts were instrumental in the effective delivery of the workshop.
