September 9, 2024 - Romblon State University held its Groundbreaking Ceremony of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology Building, Health and Wellness Building Phase I, and Learning Resource Center Building Phase II on September 09, 2024, at the Data Center. 

Top Officials, led by President Merian P. Catajay-Mani, and key personnel of the University attended this groundbreaking ceremony. The Vice President for Legal and Student Affairs and Services, Atty. Glenn Niño Sartillo delivered his opening remarks to the attendees.

Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani, the University President, was also present to grace the ceremony and gave an inspirational message to encourage the attendees to extend continuous support to this significant endeavor.

The ceremony concluded with the Pledge of Commitment led by the Contractor which served as a declaration of their responsibilities and dedication to their role to the University. 

A closing remark was also delivered by Dr. Tomas T. Faminial, Vice President for Administration and Finance. 

As we move forward, let us be guided by the University's mission, vision, and core values to ensure the University's commitment to excellent service. RSU extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Institutional and Physical Planning and Development Office (IPPDO), headed by Arch. Hannah Faith Morta, and the administration for this remarkable accomplishment. 

This ceremony marks a remarkable milestone in the University's transformational progress and development. This represents our institution's continued journey of hard work and achievement.
