August 28, 2024 - Romblon State University (RSU), under the leadership of President Dr. Merian P. Catayjay-Mani, and the Philippine Normal University (PNU), led by President Dr. Bert J. Tuga, have successfully renewed their partnership, reaffirming RSU’s pivotal role as a GCC Regional Hub for the MIMAROPA Region. This milestone underscores RSU's steadfast commitment to advancing Global Citizenship Education (GCED) throughout the region.

The recent signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) marks a significant step forward in our joint efforts to decentralize and democratize GCED initiatives. With the guidance of RSU’s GCED Focal Person, Dr. Mark G. Calimbo, RSU and PNU are dedicated to providing innovative educational opportunities and promoting global values across all communities.
