November 24, 2024 - On the afternoon of November 18, 2024, the 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒) at 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐑𝐒𝐔) hosted the 𝐽𝑜𝑏 𝑂𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑃𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑆𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑟 for 𝟕𝟏𝟒 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 from the 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝐴𝑟𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑠 (𝐶𝐴𝑆) and the 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝐸𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 (𝐶𝐸𝐷) at the University Quadrangle. With the theme "𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬: 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞," the seminar prepared students to confidently transition from academia to their chosen professions.

The event included 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, and 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Students also participated in the 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥, where they expressed their aspirations by writing down their dream jobs and companies, fueling their motivation to succeed.

𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝐼𝐷 𝑟𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) was available in the Audio-Visual Room, ensuring students secured this essential employment requirement.

Key speakers and highlights of the seminar included:

𝐷𝑟. 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝐺. 𝐶𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑚𝑏𝑜, Dean for Instruction, delivered the welcome remarks and provided an overview of the seminar, emphasizing its importance in career preparation.

𝐴𝑡𝑡𝑦. 𝐺𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑛 𝑁𝑖𝑛𝑜 𝑀. 𝑆𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑜, Vice President for Legal and Student Affairs and Services, delivered an inspirational talk, urging students to pursue excellence in their careers.

𝑀𝑠. 𝑃𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑥𝑐𝑦 𝐵. 𝑇𝑢𝑝𝑎𝑠, who provided in-depth guidance on crafting compelling resumes using AI tools

𝑀𝑠. 𝐴𝑏𝑖𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑙 𝐺. 𝑇𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑑𝑡𝑎𝑑, who guided students on mastering job interviews with confidence.

𝑀𝑠. 𝐿𝑖𝑎 𝐴𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑒 𝑃. 𝑀𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑜𝑧𝑎, Head for Employment Services at CARES, gave the closing remarks, encouraging graduates to take the lessons learned into their future endeavors.

Students expressed appreciation for the seminar's valuable insights and actionable tips, which prepared them for their future careers.
