September 12, 2025 - Highlighting its proactive stance on disaster preparedness, Romblon State University actively joined the 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃) on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, at 4:00 PM.

This university-wide exercise was carried out in line with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 027, s. 2025, which enjoins all government institutions and schools nationwide to take part in the drill.

Spearheaded by For. Edgar V. Andalecio, University DRRMO Head, the activity mobilized the RSU community including campus deans, directors, unit heads, faculty, staff, and students from the Main and satellite campuses in practicing life-saving measures and fostering a culture of readiness.

Through the NSED, the nation collectively strengthens its earthquake preparedness and emphasizes the need for quick, coordinated, and effective response in times of disaster.

The Fourth Quarter NSED will take place on November 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
