September 11, 2024 - December 13, 2024 - The RSU International Relations Office is thrilled to announce that the Romblon State University has been recognized in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024! Out of 1,477 participating higher education institutions worldwide, RSU has been recognized as Rank 1,261 in the world, Rank 718 in the Asia, Rank 57 in the Philippines and Rank 1 in the MIMAROPA Region.
This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and green campus initiatives.

RSU Joins Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
November 14, 2024 - Romblon State University (RSU) reaffirmed its commitment to disaster preparedness and safety awareness by actively participating in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held today. This initiative, spearheaded by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), seeks to promote earthquake preparedness and disaster resilience among institutions nationwide.

RSU hosts SDG Connect event: Building Inclusive Networks for Global Impact
September 27, 2024 - The recent SDG Connect Event was a resounding success, bringing together students, faculty, and community members to explore and engage with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants showcased their creativity and knowledge in various competitions, including photography, essay writing, and a quiz bee. Notably, Ms. Emmarie Rose T. Salcedo from Panpacific University was crowned the champion in the photography category, while Ms. Justine S. Machon from Romblon State University secured the top spot in the essay competition. This SAVE ME Movement's Kampo Kalikasan 2024 is a four-day camp bringing together environmental advocates and stakeholders to collaborate on issues of environmental degradation, climate change, and disaster risk management.

February 15, 2023 - In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Romblon State University (RSU) spread love and hope throughout the campus by organizing an Anti-Mining Crusade with the theme “Ang Nagmamahal, Ipinaglalaban ang Minamahal” (Those Who Love, Fight for What They Cherish). The event emphasized the importance of protecting both our community and the environment from harmful practices such as mining.
