October 3, 2025 - The Romblon State University team, headed by University President Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani, together with officials and members of the Research, Extension, Development, and Innovation (REDI) and the Center for Alumni Relations and Employment Services (CARES), conducted a house-to-house charity initiative titled “REDI CARES.”

The activity aims to extend support by distributing 100 food packs to families affected by Typhoon Opong at Sitio Aurora, Barangay Pato-o, Odiongan, Romblon.

The RSU team also visited Aurora Elementary School to donate clothes and snacks to the students and to give gifts to five teachers as part of the celebration of National Teacher’s Day.

President Mani thanks the community leaders of Sitio Aurora and Brgy Pato-o for assisting the team and coordinating the efforts to ensure all beneficiaries receive the gift packs.
