June 19, 2024 - RSU's Graduate Education and Professional Studies (GEPS) underwent evaluation under the CHED Office of the Program and Standards Development (OPSD) Quality Assessment Team last June 18 & 19, 2024.
The quality assessment team from CHED comprising Dr. Allen Bautista, Dr. Larry Gabao, Dr. Herbert Vertucio, Ms. Ana Cristina Biglete, Ms. Merigen Cafino, and Ms. Abigail Limjuco, assessed three graduate programs offered by GEPS including the following:
Doctor of Philosophy Major in Educational Leadership and Management
Master in Educational Leadership and Management
Master of Arts in Education with Majors in Science, Math, English, and Home Economics
Leading the Graduate Education and Professional Studies is Dr. Philip R. Baldera, the Dean of the department with the faculty members in their full commitment to leveraging the standard of program offering in the field of graduate education.ย
The productive visit was facilitated by the Quality Assurance Office headed by the Director Ms. Sarah Jane F. Fallaria.ย
During the closing program, the Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Emelyn F. Montoya expressed her strong support and commitment to the University's quest to ensure that all academic programs offered by the university to the community meet the highest standard set by the CHED.ย
This visit which aims to evaluate the quality and compliance of the mentioned programs with the standards set by the Commission on Higher Education is expected to catalyze growth and development, enabling GEPS to offer programs that are responsive to the needs of the community.
