October 17, 2024 - Romblon State University proudly participated in the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ held last October 15, 2024 at the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos. Representing RSU were esteemed members of the university community:
Dr. Alfredo Fortu Jr., Dean of the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Sciences; Ms. Angelica T. Galindez, Head of the Industry Relations Unit; and Mr. Dave D. Lota, Assistant Head of the Futures and Foresight for the Sustainable Development Center.
The summit provided an invaluable platform for exchanging ideas and best practices among higher education leaders, fostering collaboration to advance educational excellence.
During the summit, participants engaged in insightful discussions on critical topics such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in higher education, sustainable agricultural landscapes in Southeast Asia, impact rankings, internationalization, and the role of artificial intelligence in higher education. These discussions underscored the commitment of RSU to contribute to a sustainable future while enhancing the quality and relevance of education in the Philippines. Through active participation in such events, RSU continues to strengthen its mission of fostering innovative learning and sustainable development within the academic community.
