June 5, 2023 — Romblon State University continues to advance its commitment to building a GREEN, SMART, and RESILIENT academic environment with the successful Presentation and Consultation of the Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) at the RSU Cajidiocan Campus. This strategic activity marks another milestone in RSU’s efforts to engage its academic community, refine development priorities, and ensure that campus-wide planning reflects localized needs and aspirations.

The session was led by a dedicated team of institutional planners and technical experts, including Mr. Juniel G. Lucidos, PDO Director; Ms. Hannah Faith P. Morta, Intern Architect; and Ms. Sarah Joy Acepcion, GIS Practitioner. Their expertise brought clarity and depth to the discussions, ensuring that key stakeholders at the Cajidiocan Campus gained a comprehensive understanding of the LUDIP framework and its long-term significance.

Attended by program chairpersons, faculty members, and administrative staff, the consultation served as an important platform for dialogue, collaboration, and shared visioning. The team presented major components of the LUDIP, including:

• Campus Development Constraints – An assessment of physical, environmental, and structural challenges that may affect the campus’s future expansion and infrastructure readiness.

• Development Plans – Proposed spatial layouts and infrastructure priorities crafted to enhance academic spaces, improve student services, and maximize the use of campus resources.

• Development Cost Estimates – Preliminary financial planning to support phased implementation, resource allocation, and future budget programming.

The session highlighted the university’s dedication to transparent planning and participatory governance, ensuring that all stakeholders play an active role in shaping the future of RSU Cajidiocan.
