April 22, 2023 - On this Earth Day, Romblon State University (RSU) proudly reaffirms its commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and empowering the next generation of leaders who will champion the protection of our planet. The Earth Day celebration serves as a reminder for all of us to reflect on our responsibility to preserve and safeguard the environment for future generations.

This year's theme, "Invest in Our Planet," aligns perfectly with RSU's mission to contribute to environmental stewardship. One of the key goals from RSU's Ten-Point Agenda is the establishment of the Center for Sustainable Environment and Natural Resource Governance. This initiative is part of the university's ongoing efforts to create a space for research, collaboration, and action to foster sustainable practices and protect Romblon’s natural resources.

As we commemorate Earth Day, we honor the planet we call home and recognize that every small action contributes to a greater global movement. Through our sustainability initiatives, community engagements, and environmental education programs, RSU continues to inspire individuals to take action and be responsible stewards of the Earth.
