Romblon State University and BJMP Odiongan District Jail Forge Partnership for PDL Empowermentย
October 11, 2024 - Romblon State University (RSU) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Odiongan District Jail signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking the official commencement of their collaborative program, HOPE (Holistic Opportunities for Empowerment of Persons Deprived of Liberty). The signing ceremony was held at the RSU Admin Building, signifying a shared commitment to provide meaningful rehabilitation and reintegration opportunities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
The HOPE program is a transformative initiative that aims to empower PDLs through comprehensive and sustainable support. It focuses on holistic rehabilitation efforts, equipping individuals with the skills, education, and resources needed to reintegrate into society successfully.
