Introduction:

I wanted to build another micro to exclusively test out these props against the KK 1102 12800kv motors on 1-2s.

Components:

  • Pickle frame
  • Eachine TX06 aio camera
  • Frsky D8 receiver
  • Teeny F4 pro FC & ESC
  • LDARC 1102 12800kv motors x4

Conclusion:

It came to 35g dry, which was about 5 grams more than I wanted it to be. Unfortunately, there was no way around it unless I had a spare crazybee AIO board I wanted to commit to this project. Despite the weight, it still flew fine. It was a bit more zippy than I expected on 2s. It definitely needs a good tune though.

8/22/19 - so the outdoors flights were really nice. It flies fast on 2s and has good control despite the smaller props. 1s outdoors wasn't as much fun though, but that was to be expected as there just isn't enough power with the smallish props.

10/14/19 - I had to replace the ESC because it caught fire while arming it in the field one day and it caught fire. I tried to keep the stack low and tight, but after many crashes, the ESC finally made contact with the carbon and shorted during arming.

Overall, I think this is a great flier. 1s for indoors and 2s for outdoors. the motor prop combo is really nice.
