Banshee 8415

Introduction

I really wanted to try these 0804 motors, so I modified the newt frame by drilling out the holes to be able to mount these 3 hole motors instead. The hardest part of this build was really just the drilling.

• Tachyon 0804 15000kv motors x4
• Rotorx 3020 props x4
• Crazybee F4 Pro 1-2s FC & ESC
• LST S2 AIO camera/vtx

Conclusion

The build came to 36grams dry. I didn't use 65mm props on this because I don't trust the 1mm shafts since they break too easily. I used the rotorx props since I can use prop screws to take the load off the shaft. Overall, it came out a lot heavier than I wanted, and the efficiency doesn't compare to 1103 8000kv even though it is a few grams lighter. The choice of motor & props are more important than the weight of the craft.
