Introduction:

The specs of the GTR 239 were really good, but I thought they were wasted on such a frame with such small props. I didn't actually even try to fly it, but took out all the parts instead for other builds and put in something.more "appropriate" for this frame.

Components:

• Diatone GTR239 frame
• SPCmaker 1104 7500kv motors
• Mini F3 FC & 10amp ESC stack
• Frsky D8 receiver
• Eachine TX06 AIO camera

Conclusion:

I think the original weight of this was around 86grams. Using lighter components, it now weighs 71grams. The issue with this frame is that it's a bit heavy for my tastes for too small a prop. The argument is that you can run 3-4s, but the problem lies with efficiency. Even moving down to 1104s, this thing just sucks batteries dry. Otherwise, I think it flies fine on 2s. Will need to test it on 3s.
