AK-475H
Introduction:
Testing the Hypetrain 1104 7500kv motors.
Components:
- AK123 frame with Betafpv canopy
- Teeny F4 pro stack
- Hypetrain 1104 7500kv motors
- Frsky D8 receiver
- Buzzer
- Eachine TX06 AIO camera
Conclusion:
This came to 57 grams dry with the motor guards. I've been practicing flying around a batting cage and it has been unforgiving on components. The cameras are hard to protect without adding a lot more weight, but I've decided to add on 2 grams and completely protect the motors.
These motors are of very questionable quality. Of the 9 I bought for testing, I had immediate issues with 3 of them. A few are super smooth and the rest are rather unbalanced. One did not even spin and another would periodically bind up.
As I type this, I've only run 2 packs through it. It is not a bad motor, but it feels more amp hungry than my current favorite LDARC 1104 7500kvs. On a 2s 550mah, I can trigger the low voltage warning at around the 40 second mark. Power feels similar though (need to put in a few more packs to verify). As I'm not super impressed, I will not be picking up anymore of these motors.
Update 12/9/19 - ESC 4 died, so I had to replace the 4in1. Scaled throttle to 90%.
Update 12/27/19 - this has been retired due to the fact that 5a escs are not enough for 1104 7500kv motors.
