Banshee 8415v2
Introduction
My original Banshee 8415 met an untimely demise when it hit a tombstone head on (a bit of irony there). I loved the performance and was excited to buy 2 sets of these newly manufactured 0804 motors. I wanted to see how they could improve on the original.
Components:
- Newt frame
- Iflight Beemotor 0804 15000kv motors
- Rotorx rx2535 props
- Beecore BL F3 AIO fc with 5a ESC
- Eachine TX06 AIO camera
- Frsky D8 receiver
Conclusion
The weight came to 36 grams, a bit heavier due to the buzzer and receiver. The performance of these motors were utter crap. They had only a fraction of the power of the original red tachyons and were not smooth. It made the quad really hard to tune. I originally had the Gemfan 3025s on there as I had on the original. Due to the decrease in power, I feel they no longer had the authority to swing those props and so I had to go down to smaller props.
I'm probably going to tear this apart and use the motors with a smaller 2s build.
Update 7/21/18 - I took this apart due to poor performance of the motors on 1s.
