Brat-F20

Introduction:

I have no interest in HD recording because it's too much work, but I picked one up just for fun.

Components:

• Acrobrat frame
• T Motor F20II 3750kv motors with HQ 3x5x3 props
• Runcam Micro swift 2
• Caddx Turtle V2
• Emax mini magnum V2 stack
• Akk Oscar's backpack vtx with a micro AXII antenna
• Frsky xm+

Conclusion:

I picked this up used and tore it down to conformal coat and rebuild it to my liking. The biggest problem was that the usb port could not be accessed without taking apart the frame. I was not an easy fix as I had to rebuild the FC cable to be longer along with repositioning the buzzer in order to fit everything in correctly. After all was said and done, it came to 217 grams.

Update 11/27/19: I had to replace the turtle since it wasn't working. I decided to go down to one camera instead. It now weighs 207 grams.

Update 12/1/19: Enabled rpm filters and it does have a noticeable effect. It flies quite a bit smoother. I'm not a big fan of the HQ 3x3x3s as they were not as smooth as I wanted, so I swapped out to some gemfan 3052s instead. I'll need to see how those fare.
