In week 35, students have started to practicing their ensemble pieces. Focus on this final term is Jazz, Pop, and R&B. Students requires to re-arrange the repertoire and add few sections for improvisation, unison and attack.
In week 34, Students formed a big ensemble for their final performance. Assign instruments for each members in a group as well as discussing the difficulties of the repertoire. Planning to add more instruments and changing the arrangement.

In week 31, Students continue practicing solo piece "Grade 6 and above" for Term3-1 exam.
In week 30, Students continue practicing solo piece "Grade 6 and above" for Term3-1 exam.
In week 29, Students performed half of their repertoire. Discussed the difficulties and set new target for next lesson.
In week 28, students continue practicing their solo piece for half of the repertoire and recording session.

In week 26, students has choose the solo piece to perform in class. Grade 4 levels and above are required for this lessons and activities.

In week 24, students have submitted their first composition project and photo shoot.

In week 22, students submitted the 32 bars composition. (Intro and 1st Verse).

In Week 16, we worked mainly on solo pieces and had performance in class.

In Week 14, students gave presentation on orchestral insruments.
In Week 13, students worked on Percussion instruments. We discussed and explained how each instrument being played, techniques used by each instrument.
In Week 12, students worked on Brass instruments. We discussed and explained how each instrument being played, techniques used by each instrument.
In Week 11, students worked on woodwind instruments. We discussed and explained how each instrument being played, techniques used by each instrument.
In Week 10, students worked on stringed instruments. We discussed and explained how each instrument being played, techniques used by each instrument.
In Week 9, students memorized all the key signatures and had a test this week.
In Week 8, students played all scales they had done in week 7 and performed them on their instruments. Corrections were made and most of them learning to play the scales with both hands.
In Week 7, students continue with key signatures by writing scales. The scales consist of 8 notes with key signatures. Group A finished all 12 major scales and Group B finished all 7 scales this week.
In Week 6, students started working on their composition. The students were divided into 2 groups. Group A managed to finish all 12 major keys and Group B did 7 major keys. Students had the chance to learn how to memorize the construction of all key signatures.
In Week 5, demonstrated ways of practicing dynamics, articulation and phrasing by hands movements, fingers and arms weight.
In Week 4, students worked on the first piece and started the second piece this week. Demonstrated how slurs and phrases worked this week.
In Week 3, students worked on accuracy of notes and rhythm, clarity and performance directions.
In Week 2, students started working on solo pieces and explained all details like dynamics, articulation and performance directions.
In Week 1, we discussed and found 2 solo pieces that we will be doing for this term.
