TERM 2.2: 08/03/2021 - 12/03/2021
Students learned to say numbers 11-99. They were paired up to study the material together and then taking turns asking each other questions to check their understanding.Also we spent time setting up our Mandarin folder. Stickers for all well completed assignments in Term 2 were awarded and students pasted them all in the sticker paper that is in their Mandarin folder.
TERM 1.2
Week 8: No lessons.
Week 7: Seven mandarin video stations have been set up in the classroom. Students took turns going to each station to find out the pinyin and meaning of 7 different characters related to stationary. They then completed a unit test. Most of the students have performed well. “书,笔(竹+毛),尺,本,子,文”
Week 6: Only 1 lesson due to Term Break. Students have learned to identify,name and explain the meaning of 6 Chinese Characters related to stationery: “书,笔,尺,本,子,文”
Week 5: Students learned to say out the stationary vocabulary in sentences using the structures “This is__, I have__, I also have__ & Inside of ___”.
Week 4: Students learned to name 8 stationary and say them out loud in answering the question "What is this"(这是什么?) "This is ___" (这是___ )
Week 3: Learn to sing a Mid-Autumn Festival song with guidance
Week 2: Students learn the basic strokes "竖,撇,捺,横" and greetings
