In week 37, students continue sitting their end of year exam. Hence, students had complete listening test.
In week 36, students are sitting of end of year exam.
In week 35, we had learnt about what is five sense and how to apply skill in descriptive writing.
In week 34, students had been brief about the format and requirement of speaking test in IGCSE.
In week 33, we had learnt how to write a recipe and students cooked porridge by themselves in Master chef.
In week 32, we had read and discussed about the fast food culture in our daily and its impact to our daily life. Besides, students had completed a reading and listening test.
In week 31, we learnt had read an article “ 粥” porridge, which wrote by Liang Shih-chiu, was a renowned educator, writer, translator, literary theorist and lexicographer . By reading this article, students acquired different type of porridge in China, Taiwan and others favour of porridge. Hence, they also learnt different cooking method in Chinese style food.
In week 30, world book day was fall on Monday and students had been introduced Lu Xun(鲁迅)which was the pen name of Zhou Shuren, a leading figure of modern Chinese literature. We had read the first modern Chinese novel in China (狂人日记) which written by Lu Xun. Besides, students have had been introduced an other legendary person, Shennong who is a mythological Chinese deity in Chinese folk religion and venerated as a mythical sage ruler of prehistoric China.
In week 29, we had did a conclusion regarding the previous unit social networking. Then we start another unit by discussing about the five element in Chinese medical theory.
In week 28, students watched movie "Searching" and find out how the main character find his daughter location by using online application.
In week 27, we had have unit 4 test.
In week 26, we had learnt to use example to support our argument. The topic we discuss is " why we need to work hard in our study".
In week 25, we continue to learn rhetoric, likes hyperbole, metonymy, rhetorical repetition and irony. Hence, students had learnt about the three main element in argumentative writing.
In week 24, we had read an article which describing the life in technologically advanced society. After that, we learn rhetoric,both class had learnt about the simiel, metaphor, synesthesia and personification.
In week 23, we have finished a quiz and students have been introduced smart speaker and home assistance, such as Google Home and Alexa during lessons.
In week 22, we had read an article about the " There is a knock on the outside“ and discuss about the issues of clone technology. Hence, we discussed about how the technology influenced human especially when it apply on human.
In week 21, students had done their writing correction. We also read the a text about <Arriving of Coursin>(表哥驾到)and discuss about the phenomenon of parents compare their children in Asian society.
In week 20, students have had their unit 3 test.
In week 19, we had learnt how to insert our opinions and the feeling by read an article "feng zheng" (kite) which wrote by Lu Xun, a leading figure of modern Chinese literature. Hence, we also learnt the important to insert own feeling in the essay.
In week 18, E1 and E4 students have worked on the shooting of the short video for Chinese New Year. Also, they had learnt about psychological description and how to express themselves in the essay.
In week 17, we had compare the structure of both articles we read in the past two weeks. We also learnt how to add their feeling when telling about the occurrence of something. In addition, students have worked with first and core language students in the production of Chinese New Year Video.
In week 16, we had read an article "mu song" (seeing loved one off) which wrote by a famous Taiwanese essayist. After finish reading, we analises the structures of the article and learnt to read the person's psychology via describing someone's actions and body language.
In week 15, we had read an article " bei ying " (view of someone's back) which wrote by Zhu Ziqing was a renowned Chinese poet and essayist. After finish reading, we analises the structures of the article and learnt to read the person's psychology via describing someone's actions and body language.
In week 14, we had do revision about how to give evidences to support the point in argumentative by reading a text which titled " The best teacher is in the house" .
In week 13, we had read an article which introduce Tan Kah Kee (陈嘉庚)who was a Chinese businessman, community leader,communist and philanthropist active in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and various Chinese cities such as Shanghai, Xiamen, and Guangzhou.
In week 12, we had read two articles which with titled " Study abroad“ and " Chinese style education". We did have discussion about the importances of self-command in their study life.
In week 11, students had finish Unit test 2.
In week 10, we had finished read an article with titled "Robotics Secondary school" which written by an Taiwanese writer - Lung Ying-Tai. We discussed about the pastoral issues in our school and how to prevent these problems.
In week 9, we had an article about " How knowledge change your fate". Also, we had discuss about how to study in a smart way and what kind of skill needed in their future.
In week 8, we had finished read an article with topic " What kind of future generation that we should educate to" . Hence, we had do revision about the the three main elements in writing argumentative essay.
In week 7, we had complete the discussion and the correction of the content of unit test 1.
In week 6, students had finish their unit 1 test.
In week 5, we had read an article " 蝴蝶结“ (ribbon) which written by an Taiwanese writer - Lung Ying-Tai to learn how the write apply the "show don't tell" writing skill in her writing. Hence, we did some exercise to try to apply the " Show, don't tell" skill in our short passages.
In week 4, we had learned a writing skill "Show, don't tell" which learn to describe human emotion by describing human' appearance and reaction.
In week 3, we had read an article, “Taking Oath in the Peach Garden" (桃园三结义)and story of ”Romance of the Three Kingdoms“ had been introduced to students.
In week 2, we had read an article 《一幕感人的短剧》(a touching drama)written by Taiwanese writter, Chi Chun. By reading the article, we had discussed about the face problem between peers.
In week 1, students have been introduced to Malaysia Independence Day. They are required to illustrate their ideal Malaysia and list down their responsibilities as a Malaysia citizen.
