At Matrix International School, we believe that we are part of a community. Being part of a community means that we share our thoughts and ideas as well as what we are doing in our everyday lives. English lessons. Myth, Fables and Legends.
This week students have been continuing with the above topic. They have been reading about fables, Myths and legends. They are answering comprehension questions, discussing about the difference between fables, myth and legends.Figurative language: Personification and Idioms
They watched two youtubes and identify features of myth and legends in a mind map.
Guided reading: reading two books: The Worst of the Viking and Go to the Dragon Maker.
This week they visited the school library to extend their home reading: They borrowed two books: The first from the Aesop Fables series and the next is a book of their choice from the writer Enid Blyton.
