Term 1 - Week 6 (12/10/20 - 16/10/20)
Students learnt to create a basic routine by combining the various skills learnt so far. They used two to three ways of travelling, jumping and balancing to create their routine.
Term 1 - Week 5 (5/10/20 - 9/10/20)
Students learnt the basic use of apparatus(hoola hoop) as they may use it in Year 5 and Year 6 when they will be creating a routine.
Term 1 - Week 4 (28/9/20 - 2/9/20)
Students have learned the landing technique for jumping from a height. Students also had a chance to use an apparatus (hoola hoop).
Term 1 - Week 3 (21/09/20 - 25/09/20)
Students have learned the basic technique for half turn and full turn jumps.
Term 1 - Week 2 (14/09/20 - 18/09/20)
Students learnt various types of jumps( Jump and land, Star Jump, Pike Jump, Pencil Jump, Half turn Jump, Full turn Jump) in gymnastics. They tried it with and without elevation.
Term 1 - Week 1 (07/09/20 - 11/09/20)
Students have learnt how to keep themselves safe during PE lessons with the RMCO. They have revised the standard operating procedure and they are well aware of the Do's and Don't for the PE lesson.
