In week 37, students have discussed their End of Year papers.
In week 36, students have sat for End of Year Examination.
In week 35, students have practised past year question for reading comprehension.
In week 34, students are guided to write a narrative essay, "Adventure to a Haunted Mansion" (荒屋历险记). They are required to distinguish the features of haunted mansion. In addition, they have wrote it in five paragraphs.
In week 33, students have continued with the last part of "From Baicao Yuan to Sanwei Shuwu" (从百草园到三味书屋), by Lu Xun (鲁迅). They are required to learn what is vital in the writing about school. They are given written tasks to write about the learning environment during lessons.
In week 32, students have continued with "From Baicao Yuan to Sanwei Shuwu" (从百草园到三味书屋), by Lu Xun (鲁迅). Students have learnt on how to do build up the atmosphere of a place with relevant events. They are required to locate a childhood place and describe it with at least two relevant events.
In week 31, students have been introduced to "From Baicao Yuan to Sanwei Shuwu" (从百草园到三味书屋), by Lu Xun (鲁迅). They have worked in group to draw objects in the prose without assistance from teacher. The group that draw the most objects will be the winner. This will exposed to the students about the importance of objects or external elements in building up of atmosphere.
In week 30, students have been introduced to May Fourth Movement and they need to match the book covers with relevant May Fourth Movement authors in conjunction of World Book Day. Also, they need to build up simple setting (objects, facial expression, actions) to let the readers know the place.
In week 29, students have been introduced to the importance of "setting" in the narrative. They have learnt to use the right adjective to build up setting.
In week 28, students have to solve Jeopardy Grid regarding to Chinese Culture.
In week 27, students have had their unit test.
In week 26, students have work on "一场风波“ with the aid of teacher.
In week 25, students have to work on a narrative essay with the title of "一场风波”. They are required to produce an essay with complete structure.
In week 24, students have recognised the effect of conversation through 永生的眼睛. Students then worked in group to design the dialogue for the character in comics.
In week 23, students have discussed about 永生的眼睛 by Linda Rivers. For those who are not able to explain the meaning of vocabulary would need to construct sentences based on the vocabulary that they fail to explain. In addition, they have discussed about organ donation after death.
In week 22, students have corrected their essay. Also, they have worked in pair to understand the meaning of a passage 永生的眼睛 by Linda Rivers. One of the member needs to read out loud appointed paragraph without errors after the discussion. They are required to work on the vocabulary of the passage during the weekends.
In week 21, students have discussed their Unit Test.
In week 20, students have had their Unit Test.

In week 18, students have worked on the shooting of short video for Chinese New Year. Also, they have learnt to describe one's hand with various methods, e.g. metaphor.
In week 17, students have continued to appreciate "The Hands of Mother". In addition, they have worked with second and foreign language students to prepare a short video for Chinese New Year.
In week 16, students have been introduced to “The Hands of Mother" (妈妈的手) by Qi Jun (琦君). They have to answer all the questions related to the comprehension verbally. They have to construct sentences based on the vocabularies that they cannot interpret.
In week 15, students have worked on "Show, don't tell" worksheet. They were given a list regarding expression, action and language as the content that may help them to describe someone with plenty of details.
In week 14, students have drew their dream boy or dream girl and label the characteristics of their physical appearance.
In week 13, students have discussed their unit test. Then, they have drew three figures in the school and practised to describe the physical appearance of these figures.
In week 12, students have been directed to describe the physical appearance of persons. Also, they have had their unit test.
In week 11, students needs to categorize 80 descriptive words into different groups. The categorization process would enhance their understanding regarding the description of physical appearance. Those who group the most words in the right category will have least homework and vice versa.
In week 10, students have benn discussed the comprehension of "学会看病”by Bi Shumin (毕淑敏). In addition, students have been introduced to the basic elements in the description of a person, such as physical appearance and behaviour.
In week 9, students have been introduced to "学会看病”by Bi Shumin (毕淑敏). They have discussed the meaning of the prose together and construct sentences for the vocabularies that they have not master. Also, they have a set of comphrehension as their weekend's homework.
In week 8, students have practised sentence expanding. They are required to adding phrases or clauses into the main clause or independent clause. Also, they are given a synonym worksheet to practise to express the same meaning with different wordings.
In week 7, students have discussed their unit test paper. Also, they have learnt a story in classical chinese “五官争功”. They have exposed to what is classical chinese in general, and they need to translate the story into modern chinese verbally with the aid of teacher. Then, they have worked in pair to translate the story in written form. In addition, they have worked individually to match the meaning of the word in classical chinese. They have also given a set of comprehension as their weekends' homework.
In week 6, students have had their unit test 1.
In week 5, students have been discussed “母与女” by Zhan Fumei (詹富美) as an introduction to description of person. Also, they have completed comprehension regarding to the texts. They have also given a set of practice about conjunction as their weekends' homework.
In week 4, students have been discussed the reading comprehension that they have done in the previous week and trace the mistakes in their works. They have also worked on the correction of their worksheet for conjunction. In addition, they have introduced to chinese riddles and the production of riddles as part of celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival.
In week 3, students have been completed the comprehension of "我这样长大“ (I grew up in this way) by 华飞(Hua Fei). From this comprehension, they have learnt the keywords and skills in reading. Moreover, they have exposed to "Show, don't tell" and they need to trace how writer achieved effects. They have also learnt how to use conjunction in sentence construction.
In week 2, students have been introduced to "我这样长大“ (I grew up in this way) by 华飞(Hua Fei). Students are required to construct sentences based on the vocabularies that they failed to define. Then, they have to complete the comprehension regarding to the text.
In week 1, students have been introduced to Chinese first language. Then, they are required to write a personal letter to themselves in the year 2019.
