Understand what grid drawing is and make connections between math and art
Develop drawing skills focusing on line, shape and proportion
Learn about the American Artist Chuck Close
WEEK 2: In this week, before the lesson started teacher asked pupils the artists which had been taught before. Then teacher introduced them to a new artist which was Chuck close and discussed the life of Chuck and his paintings.
WEEK 1: In this week, teacher discussed with them about the IPC topic, Art Focus and Expectations in Art class. Teacher showed them a few rules that they must follow while they are having art class.
Expectations:
Most children will be able to: Explore ideas about the topics, investigate and use drawing and painting materials and techniques.
Some children will not have made so much progress. They will able to: Use drawing and painting to communicate ideas about the topic: Talk about what they think or feel about their own work.
Some children will have progressed further. They will be able to: Collect visual and other information to help them develop their work, investigate visual and tactile qualities of media, adapt and improve their own work.
