solving Systems of equations

How do we solve a set of equations? Let's make a video tutorial to make it clear !

You know there are three different algebraic methods to solve a system of two linear equations:

1. Substitution

2. Equalization

3. Elimination

In pairs, you have to make a video (5:00 maximum) pretending to be a teacher and a student asking questions about the steps to follow in order to find the solutions of a system of equations.

You must explain two of the three methods, switching the roles teacher-student.

Start the video introducing yourselves in front of camera. Then, you can make the explanation in a paper or a board. At the end, conclude the video again in front of camera.

• Cross multiply (multiplicar en creu)

• Common denominator (denominador comú)

• Lowest common denominator (mínim denominador comú)

• Remove denominators / eliminate denominators (treure denominadors)

• Plug into (substituir un valor numèric en una equació)

• Solution (solució)
