The classroom training experience with adults started in 2014.
Impresa Verde was organizing the course for educational farm operators and entrusted me with a small module.
Since then, every year I have been fortunate enough to be able to contribute with different topics to the courses. Sometimes I do more theoretical interventions, other times I am asked to perform more practical/experiential lectures.
Broadly speaking, the themes I usually develop revolve around:
-activities (what do I do? What activities can I propose to the group coming to the farm?),
- scheduling (what has do be done, when; during the day?)
- management of groups (basic needs and how can I meet those needs?),
- management of the staff (who has to do what, when, where, how, why and with what tools?)
- the time before-during-after the arrival of the group
- contact with the users (the language I use regarding the age of the users)
A number of thematic evenings events followed.
- For Amico cane & co. (association in Mantua) on topics dear to those who work with animals:
elements of psychology
communication
leadership
fear
- For Auser Mantova (association in Mantua) on topics dear to the third age, such as.
well-being in the third age
the human-nature relationship
the human-animal relationship
active life in the third age
The big break came in 2018 thanks to the Auser Mantova association, which, through the For.Ma training organization, allowed me to contribute to the creation and implementation of the course for animal-assisted interventions (IAA) operators.
This is a 3-level course (propaedeutic, basic, advanced) in which each figure who will work on the IAA team receives specific content and stimuli that are then channeled into a shared phase in which the whole team can put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired.
Thanks to Dott. Edoardo Chiribella and to Dott.ssa Chiara Delfini who believed in me.
The 2020 coronavirus pandemic caught the tail end of the course, which became distance learning as a result. On this occasion, it had been necessary to create some online-video modules.
Below, by way of example, you can find the links to the modules for planning and monitoring activities (in Italian).
