SWBAT:
Add 2 Room Details
Transform the room details so the diagonals connect to the vanishing point
Practice keeping several dated copies of the assignment in case the file gets corrupted.
(See Rubric in Blue text below)
If you want to do a room interior for your final project, you can use the file you are making here. Or you can make a new one!
1. Open your Room Interior 1 File in Photopea
2. File > Save as PSD
3. In the Save as PSD file, follow the example in blue text below and rename a copy of your file.

Two Details Hooker Martina.psd
See room detail ideas listed to the right and find one you like on the internet. Make sure it is a plain photographic image and not someone else's artwork unless it it clear that you are presenting someone else's artwork like a framed painting by an artist
2. Make sure the pixel dimension is big enough! Remember your file is 300 DPI and it's 16" wide. Do the math!
3. Paste it into your file
4. Position it so the nearest edge is where you want it to be. The nearest edge of this window is the left edge.
Select the line tool (find it hiding underneath the rectangle tool of you don't see it)
Create two diagonal lines, each connecting first to one of the nearest corners (top left and top right in example here) and then to the vanishing point.
LOCK the line layers in the layers panel
2. Use the following 2 Transform options until you get the room detail diagonals properly lined up to the vanishing point. Be sure the keep the other edges perfectly horizontal or vertical.
• Transform > Perspective (Corner Tabs)
In the EDIT MENU. For best results, only click on corner tabs with the Perspective Option• Transform > Distort (Middle Tabs)
IN THE EDIT MENU. For best results, only click on center tabs with the Distort option1.
1. Don't forget to be careful! Make sure you DON'T DRAW LINES on your IMAGE LAYERS!
Cut out the round object after you transforms it!
The Rubric calls for 2 details. If you don't want them in your final work, show them to me for credit and then delete them!
1. If you would like to add something that has more depth to it, find an image that is already about the right angle to connect to your vanishing point.
2. Use Edit > Transform > Warp to get the diagonals to line up as best as you can
