SWBAT:
1..use the MOVE TOOL with the AUTO SELECT Option
2..use the Edit Menu's FREE TRANSFORM option and SHORTCUT
3..use the edit > transform option to FLIP shapes
4..choose a STRATEGY for creating VISUAL BALANCE
5..Manage LAYERS
1. SELECT and DESELECT layers by clicking or shift clicking on the in the LAYERS PALETTE or on CANVAS.
2. Move layers FORWARD and BACK by dragging them UP and DOWN in the LAYERS PALETTE.
3. DELETE LAYERS by dragging them to the LAYERS PALETTE TRASH CAN.
4. LOCK LAYERS with the LOCK Icon
Command Z only does one undo in Photoshop.
You can Undo more than once with the shortcut for EDIT > STEP BACKWARD
Command-Option Z
1. Open your T-Shirt.PSD File
2. Select the Move Tool
3. At the top left of your screen find the "Auto Select" check box in the options bar. Make sure it's set to LAYER.
The "Auto Select" option will save you from having to select layers in the layers palette
1. Make sure you have the Move Tool selected and that it's set to "Auto Select" (see above)
2. Click, Option - Drag on one of your designs to make a copy of it
3. Look in the Layers Palette and you will see that you have created a new layer!
4. Repeat the process and copy your other designs.
5. Hide layers you're not sure what to do with yet.
1. Scale and Rotate:
Edit > Free Transform (Command T).
2. Hit the RETURN key each time you want to commit the Transformation.
1. SCALING UP (making larger) in Photoshop should ONLY be done in rare cases like this one where you are working with VECTOR SMART OBJECTS that have not been converted to pixels yet
2. Scaling and Rotating in Photoshop is a 2-step process. Always hit the return key after you use a Transform option
1. Select a Silhouette
2. Option drag with the move tool to duplicate it
3. Make sure the duplicate shape is select (highlighted) in the layer palette
4. Edit > Transform. Choose Flip Horizontal / Vertical
Only one flip is required on the Rubric. Flip a copy of your second silhouette if you want to.
1. View > Rulers (Command R)
2. Click on the vertical ruler and drag a guide to the 3.75" Mark on the Horizontal Ruler
3. Use the Move Tool to arrange your layers in a pleasing and organized way.
4. Create additional guides to line up your other designs

Create a second file and paste other AI designs into it
You can name it T-Shirt Extra followed by your last name first name.
