The FEATHER SETTING is a SELECTION TOOL optio
that you can use to make CRISP or FUZZY EDGES.
.
Here are some images that are good for a feather setting:
Fur
Spiky Hair
Clouds
Blending texture tiles
.
1. Choose the Selection Tool you want to work with
.
2. Look up at the OPTIONS BAR and type in a number.
The higher the number, the fuzzier the edge will be.
.
3. Review the results and redo your work with a different feather
setting if needed.
.
4. Make sure to NOT USE a FEATHER SETTING when the edges
should be sharp and crisp. If you do it by mistake, undo your work
and set the feather setting to zero. Select and delete again
Cut it out
Transform it (Flip, Rotate, Warp)
Adjust Colors
Use Filters
