SWBAT:
1....Edit vertical asset images to make them horizontal
2. Convert all asset files to JPEGs
1. Option-Drag files out of your My Video folder to preserve the originals.
2. Edit the ones in your My Video Folder for your project
3. Change file names on the ones for your video to help keep track.
Example:
T-Shirt for Video
1. Select the crop tool
2. Check the option bar and make sure there are no settings
1. Create an Asset file
• File > New
• Name: Name as you wish
• Preset: Custom
• Width: 1280 Pixels
• Height: 720 pixels
• Resolution: 72 DPI
( Create an oversized asset file if you want to Zoom in)
Make Oversized for Zooming
• File > New
• Name "....Edited for Video"
• Width: 35.5 inches
• Height: 20 inches
• Resolution: 72 DPI
2. Add The Vertical Image (JPEG)
• Open vertical file so you have both files open
• View both files at the same time with the
Window > Arrange > Two Up Vertical option
• Use the Move Tool to drag the vertical image into your new Horizontal File
3. Edit the file as you wish
1. File > Save as JPEG
2. Drag any layered PSD files out of your My Video folder
1. Show your renamed and edited JPEGs. The only PSD file in your folder should be your My Video file.
Come to the Mac Lab outside of class time.
Check for availability
1. Right-Click > Open With Photoshop
2. Load PS and open through PS File Menu

3. Drag closed JPEG file icon to the PS icon on the Dock
