1. Draw a color wheel that includes the 12 correct color wheel colors
2. Divide each color wheel color into 4 shapes
3. Create Tints
4. Create Shade
5. Mix complements to create duller versions of each color

Complementary Colors are pairs of colors that are positioned directly opposite each other on the color wheel
Complementary colors create the most contrast and are very useful for making things like text or objects stand out more
Mixing a color with its complement is a way to lower its intensity. Instead of using black to create shadows, artists often use complement mixing to create a richer more dynamic look
